First of all the delivery was quick and it came right to my door. Secondly, adding a shot of Milano and a shot of Burbon on ice, although not a Manhattan has a unique yet desireable taste. A little bitter, refreshing, and a touch of sweetness. It's a winner.
I like to drink this by itself over ice with a twist of lemon, or combined with Free Spirits' Spirit of Gin and Spirit of Vermouth Rosso for the best NA Negroni I've found. Beats all the canned Negronis by a mile!
I've been enjoying our non-alcoholic happy hours lately largely because of this spirited mixer (I most prefer it with splash of club soda and an orange slice). On occasion, I add bitters, but IMO it really doesn't need any other flavor introduced into the mix. I've tried other brands, but between the Spirit of Milano and the Free Spirit Gin, I'm very happy!
My very first cocktail created with the tasty Spirit of Milano, I am hugely swayed to another. Understand why you need to go down this delicious taste of Italia; takes me to so many wonderful memories of my travels. I am now in Italy and I believe I shall have another cocktail. Thank you Free Spirits for this wonderful ambiance of Milano. Wonderful. Is there possibly another bottle greater than 7.5 litre available?
I love Aperol and have tried many NA versions. This one is hands down the best. No weird sugar substitutes, no artificial red food coloring, not too sweet, and a lovely heat that makes it enjoyable in a cocktail but also great to drink on its own over ice. I have generally been disappointed with most NA spirits I've tried but this one is a keeper.
Have recently made the foray into non-alcoholic cocktails after a sports injury to cut down on alcohol related inflamation. Milano has a satisfying texture and bite to it that helps me wind down after a long day. Tore through the first bottle and will be my go to after trying quite a few different brands
Grateful for the chance to try this fun and fruity NA cocktail ingredient! Thanks for your great work, Free Spirits team!
I needed to see some of the recipes for using Milano, and from the ones I see, I really need to mix it with Tequilia or gin and other juice. I have not tried that yet. It is to strong for using alone on the rocks. Would be nice if you could make a Rum equivalent.
This was my first experience with Milano, so I was unsure what to expect. It was a pleasant surprise, with a mild nip, not a bite, but definitely a little spicy. I have been enjoying it with a light tonic or sparkling water. Another bottle is on its way!
Somewhat decent sub for Campari, has the slight peppery kick in place of alcohol but lacking the bitterness Campari and others impart. Works well with others shouldering that role.
