LOVE this handy nailer!

vcwalters March 13, 2018

Received my Freeman PFR2190 21 Degree 3-1/2 in. Full Head Framing Nailer and was anxious to start using it. It does not come with nails so you will need to purchase those separately. This nailer has an aluminum magazine and cylinder which make it a lighter weight and should make it last a lot longer. It has Teflon O-rings for high-performance and to ensure that maintains internal sustainability. It also features an anti-dry fire mechanism that will prevent empty or useless nail fires. This will also prolong the life of the the nailer. It has a blow molded case for mess-free storage and portability. Also has a removable no-mar tip to prevent work surface damage. Also another great feature is the ability to have a single and sequential firing triggers. That is super handy! It is made of magnesium construction for lightweight durability. It comes with a very nice hard case, air connector adjustment tools, lubricating oil, safety goggles and anti-dust cap. I am using this framing nailer for some decking and fencing. I need to redo some areas and this tool will save tons of time not to mention wear and tear on my body!! I love how well it handles and performs. Highly recommend this tool for anyone needing to do some big jobs or even some small jobs. Never going back to a screw gun or hammer!!

Anyones favorite Building Buddy

bschank85 March 16, 2018

Well made, easy to handle and powerful. Weighs about 8 pounds and so much better than swinging a hammer.Very comfortable in my husbands hand as well as mine, yes I tried it. Where was this time saver when we built this house... 7 year limited warranty. Stores easily in it's sturdy case.

Gets the Job Done!

SSSandANS March 14, 2018

My Freeman PFR2190 21 Degree 3-1/2 in. Full Head Framing Nailer arrived recently and it was just in time for a project! Using a DeWalt compressor and 100 psi, this nailer set the nails (purchased separately) well in pine, leaving the head flush with with the wood. (I haven't tried this in oak yet, but hope for similar satisfactory results, even though oak is a harder wood.) This nailer arrived in a nice, heavy plastic storage case. It is larger and heavier than some nailers, and appears durable. The nails were easily loaded, but you cannot fire all of the nails before you have to load an additional strip. I would recommend taking out the few remaining nails before loading the next strip so you do not experience a jam on the first nail in that set. This definitely makes framing a LOT faster than using a hammer!

Awesome nail gun!

Allieoopes March 24, 2018

I got this from the Wal-Mart Spark Review program. I honestly got this for my husband and son, as they are planning on doing some building soon. I really did not expect for this to be so large and heavy duty. It is a little heavy, but I guess that is what you need. I sort of expected the small ones like the little staple guns you get. It comes in it's own hard carrying case, which is nice. It take 2" to 3 1/2" nails, so if you are doing something where you need longer snails it is great. They went to Home Depot and purchased the nails for this , just to try it out and play around with it some. They really were impressed with the amount of power that is in the gun. Apparently it has a dial on it where you can turn the amount of pressure that it fires the nail with. It takes a little playing around to get the right pressure, but after that it has no problems. Before they adjusted it, they were shooting the nails into an old piece of 4x4 they had. It was sinking the nails about a quarter of an inch into the wood. They adjusted the dial and got it so the nail head was right where it should be. It has an optional trigger lock that is included if you prefer to put that on, instead of a rapid fire type trigger. It seems to be very well made and very sturdy. They both love it and can't wait till the nice weather so they can build the shed they are wanting. They said that they would recommend this anyone.

SAVES A TON OF WORK!!!

Luveena March 18, 2018

Perfect timing! My husband has just started finishing our basement and this tool is saving him tons of work so he's a happy guy. He says it works great, not too heavy and is well balanced. It was also easy to learn to use even though he hadn't ever used one before. Highly recommend for those big building or remodeling projects!!

Great home owner framing nailer

sweetepi March 23, 2018

This tool comes ready to use all that needs to be purchased are the nails. It takes a variety of nails from 2" to 3 1/2". The nail gun seems well balanced and well built and requires very little set up out of the box. It's easy to load and easy to transport with the included case. To convert to rapid fire requires changing of the trigger apparatus. It''s fairly easy but is a bit inconvenient. The other drawback is the no mar tip must be removed to perform a toe nailing operation. Overall, a great entry level framing nailer.

Freeman Framing Nailer

EMS27 March 22, 2018

This is a full Round Head Framing nailer comes in its own hard case with the needed supplies to get started. The pneumatic nailer is easy to use and the directions are easy to follow. You will need a compressor designed to handle the required pressure needed to run the nail gun. The directions are easy to follow and understand. The framing nailer uses 21-degree full round head nail clips which are readily available at many home improvement stores and online. I did have my husband to help with my review as he actually used the nailer as I watched. I am pleased with how well it worked. The nail gun is capable of using 2 to 3 1/2 inch gauge and is compatible with 20- 22-degree nail clips as well. The nail gun works very well and I have found no issues with using it as intended. The Nailer has safety features that are easy to work with and improves the nail gun. Please read and follow all instructions and it will last and give you trouble free service. The Freeman Model PFR2190 Full Round Head Framing Nailer is well made and balanced for comfortable use over long periods of time. I had no problems jointing 2X4 together and very please with its performance. The nailer isn't as heavy I thought it may be and made the project I was working on much faster and easier than using a hammer. Would I purchase the nail gun? Yes, without a second thought. I have attached photos of the nailer in the case and using it on a project we had started.

Nail Gun

GrandmaofDillanandJoanne April 8, 2018

I gave this nail gun to my son. He really likes it but it does have a few issues. 1. The very first ream of nails the last 4 would not shoot. 2. The second and 3rd Reams the last 2 would not shoot. 3. The nail gun sometimes would not fire for a shot or 2 then it would again work normally. All in all he liked to gun. He did get frustrated when it would misfire. He did not like wasting some of the nails. The nails went in good and seem to hold well.
