Wonderful Machine!

Barbi D September 1, 2025

At 74 years old I was looking for a machine that would be kind to my body and help me move when it is either too hot or too cold outside. I have thyroid issues so walking in the heat is much worse than walking in the colder months - however there is the snow and ice to contend with. The LT7 is perfect and I haven't missed a day since it was delivered! It takes up surprisingly little space compared to the treadmills I have owned in the past and it is much easier on the joints. I look forward to using it each day - something I have not experienced with other exercise machines!

Outstanding Equipment

Kenda May 10, 2024

I love this bike elliptical LT7 FreeStep. I use it every other day and it feels invigorating. I am partially disabled for walking and this is a fantastic substitute. Even when I think "oh gee I don't want to exercise right now" I get on the FreeStep and select one of many programs or just use manual and then I begin the feel good immediately. It is fun to us, it is a good workout and it is relaxing to use. It gets all the kinks out of your shoulders and neck also. Your body starts having a good time and 30 minutes peels away before you know it.

Helping manage arthritis pain

VH6568 April 14, 2026

This is the best workout I have done since being diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees and left hip. I started with 10 min per day and 3 weeks later can easily do 30 min per day. The bike was very easy to assemble, it was packaged to perfection. It was easy for me to move around. It make zero noise. In my opinion, the bike is more "compact" in person than it appears on screen. I was concerned it would be too bulky for my workout room space - it is not at all.

With two knees replaced and having had lumbar surgery, we were looking for a low impact exercise machine. The LT7 is perfect! With all the settings you can simulate various routines.

Happy Customer is Off the Couch!

Happy in NM October 8, 2025

I love my FreeStep LT7 Recumbent Cross Trainer. I have many bad painful joints on this 66-year-old body which has impeded my ability and desire to exercise. However, this is no longer the case with the LT7. I use it on a daily basis. Having the LT7 at home is very convenient. I appreciate that it allows me to adjust/customize the set-up for my 5'2" in frame. It's easy to try various programs to ramp-up my workout. It took a while for us to set-up the equipment. However, when it was over, I knew I bought a piece of quality equipment. I definitely recommend the LT7--quality and cost effective.

Great addition to my Teeter collection!

MalcolmB April 14, 2025

I recently purchased the FreeStep LT7, because four cardiac surgeries and multiple back incidents ultimately resulted in my inability to stand or walk for no more than 5-10 minutes. I can work out for extended periods of time at the gym, but only on machines designed to SIT and work all muscle groups. My chiropractor's recommended I exercise on recumbent steppers. However, therapy sessions and gyms costs get to be somewhat expensive. I stumbled across the FreeStep LT7 while ordering the heated/vibrating cushion for my inversion table. I have been a Teeter customer since the 1980's. I started out with the gravity boots when they were called “Hang-Ups”. Shortly before I wore out the padded boot cushions, I brought my 1st inversion table. I have owned three different tables since then. The latest table I simply upgraded the ankle support to the EZ-Reach and brought the Heat-Vibration Cushion. I have been hanging upside down (inverting) for 40+ years! And I have to tell you that inversion technology has been a huge life saver after a few uncomfortable incidents with my back. … Back to the stepper. It came in parts and was pretty easy to assemble. The completed assembly is a little heavier than expected, but worth the time and effort. Teeter recommended downloading the “BILT” application which gives the easiest step-by-step instructions, with step-by-step video I have ever seen. Funny because the Hang-Ups logo is a monkey hanging upside down! The assembly instructions are so easy that a monkey can easily do them!!! The LT7is the latest equipment in a my decade's long trust in Teeter. I highly recommend this equipment..

Love my LT7!!

Scottie May 31, 2025

I ride a road bicycle 100+ miles a week and needed a machine to loosen and work leg and upper body muscles inbetween rides. The Freestep LT7 elliptical perfectly accomplishes this and also adds muscle strength. I have tried many other machines over the years and this is THE best I have found. I was lucky in that I got to try one before buying as my sister bought one to rehab from knee replacement surgeries.

Great workout without back pain

Larry S July 8, 2024

As I increased the workout time on my treadmill I began to experience lower back pain that would not go away between workouts. Now, with the Free Step LT7, I can do a 30 minute workout that incorporates both my upper and lower body with no lower back pain. Now I get a really good workout and I'm ready to do it again the next day. Pretty good for 81 years old!

Design an alternative grip replacement part?

B Hughes October 20, 2024

Overall, I'm thrilled with this machine. It's the most comfortable form of exercise I've ever found, even when breaking a sweat. I'm 72, female, and have been quite sedentary for a LONG time. I am taking a chance that this will finally help me get the exercise I need. One thing, though, is that since I currently weigh nearly 300 pounds, and I "spread" a lot when I sit, it's impossible for me to use the "lower grip" so that I can do more work on my arm muscles. The gripping part of the handles is so long that they poke and rub against my hips in the down position, which hurts. That's quite disappointing. Shortening the length of the grips pointing inward toward the body by about 2-3 inches would probably make a huge difference. I've resigned myself to having to use the machine only with the "upright grip" over time, until I actually start losing inches in my butt and hips so that the grips no longer poke into me when I switch to the "lower grip." It would be really great if these handles/grips could be replaced with alternative grips that aren't so long. Maybe you could design an alternative handle/grip replacement part? I REALLY want to work on my triceps, but it's impossible at my current size. I do hope something can come from this suggestion, because I can't afford to buy a whole new redesigned model. A redesigned handle grip would be perfect!

Easy setup! Great product!

Anonymous June 16, 2025

Teeter provides an app with step-by-step instructions for assembly. In addition, the parts for each step are individually labeled and packaged. I have never experienced such ease and organization of assembly with any product over the numerous years I have assembled various products. I applaud Teeter! As for the product, it's smooth, quiet and comfortable. There are ample options for cardiac rehab. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is due to the position of the arm mechanism. I wish it was a bit more forward. As it is, part of the arm movement goes to your sides. It's not a major concern. Overall, I highly recommend this product. For the price point, I'm extremely pleased!
