Freeze Defense Warm Men's 3in1 Winter Jacket Coat Parka & Vest (2XL, Blue)

It's very well made, good looking, and extremely warm. It's too warm in fact for anything but the very coldest days. If you put it on before going outside, you'll start sweating within seconds. It's one of those jackets you can't really wear inside/outside. You'll have to take it off if you go into a store, you can't just wear in all the time. The vest may become handy for that. Pros: Extremely warm even in sub zero temps Looks good Well made Versitile Cons: Too warm for indoor wear (but that's not it's design. Just something to keep in mind) I find it difficult to find the 2nd sleeve hole. With the vest and hood I keep putting my arm in every hole but the one where the sleeve actually is. I may in time figure out a trick so it's not such a challenge. Other thoughts. It runs a little large. I could have worn a large even though I'm normally an XL in everything. I could easily wear a sweater or sweatshirt under this and still have room to spare. On days where a jacket like this is needed, I'll likely wear a light jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt under it so when I have to take it off when going in somewhere I still have something warm to wear. Keep in mind, this is not a jacket you wear unless it's very very cold out.

I bought this jacket for my son when Northern Nevada weather turned unexpectedly severe. I selected the wrong size %26 notified Freeze Defense. They responded promptly with instructions on return and exchange. On the same day they received the original coat back, they shipped the replacement! My son is extremely pleased with the jacket's look, size, warmth %26 versatility. As a vet tech, he especially appreciates the removable %26 reversible vest. Not only do I highly recommend Freeze Defense but the jacket as well. Thank you for making me and my son happy and satisfied.

It has nice color choices, style and features. I chose the black and gray over the blue this time. It's very thick and warm even with the vest removed.

It was heavy it was convenient the best comes out where if it isn't cold enough to wear all of it I can take it apart and just wear the best which some of the time I've done that already.

A I am very pleased with this coat I bought for my son for Christmas. he said it was very warm and very comfortable. Now I just need to find him some winter boots to complete his Christmas..

The morning after the coat arrived, it was 13 degrees with a 20 mph wind here in northern Illinois, making for a wind chill well below zero. The coat easily passed the test and showed it's good for colder weather than that. It is bulky because of thick layers of high-quality synthetic insultation. Synthetic keeps the price several hundred of dollars less than a top-notch down coat. Synthetic insulation much more durable, too. When it's just cold - not crazy cold - the hood detaches and the insulated vest inside zips out. The zippers are heavy duty. Lots of big pockets, too. Jam a pair of thick gloves is them and they won't fall out and get lost. All in all, I think the Freeze Defense coat is winner.

My brother loved it said it fit well and help him keep warm. good for the money.

This jacket is really warm in the cold and windchill weather

It's a heavy (weighty) coat and a bit bulky but it is very warm with good wind protection. The vest is nice. On trips I remove the outer coat and just use the vest in the car. My biggest kick is that the zippers to attach the vest to the coat interfere with the coat's zipper when the vest is not used. I would only use the vest with the coat on extremely cold days (below 0 or colder).

I never received the item which is the coat. they never contacted me not once about where it was at. it gave me a certain date which it did not show up and said it was still not been sent by the seller so do not order this nice coat which is crappy to me now. I said over on Amazon so I'm going to order it from Amazon and it's coming from freeze defense directly instead of somebody's house because when they sent me a picture of it being sent back .. FedEx sent me a picture of a house a regular looking one at that where the coat was sent back to it was sitting on a dirty little porch with another package. so that must been the third party or some kind of party that was sending it to me. so Walmart gave me a refund and now I'm going to use that refund towards the same coat freeze the fence same color red and black over on Amazon app least I know things will get done right. Walmart is good but certain sellers that go through them terrible rotten and liars.
