Freixenet Extra Dry Glera Prosecco, Sparkling White Wine, 750ml, 11.5% ABV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've long relied on Freixenet for Cava and even visited their estate outside of Barcelona on my honeymoon, so I was excited to try their take on Prosecco. The faceted bottle is gorgeous and almost as distinct at their signature all black Cava packaging. It is made from 100% Glera grapes in the traditional Prosecco method (stainless steel tank fermentation) in Italy's Prosecco region of Veneto. The wine is a pretty, clear pale gold color with fine bubbles. I found fresh & zesty aromas of citrus, Asian pear, and green and yellow apples, with notes of lemon, white grapefruit, and light florals on the palate. Clean finish with 11% alcohol. A nice aperitif for the holidays and would also be good with seafood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I really enjoyed this beverage as a nice end to our Easter celebration. It was crisp and clean and wasn't too sweet. The bubbles gave it just the right amount of zip. I would definitely get this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This prosecco is great! The taste is soft and fresh. I can see myself sipping this in a nice garden somewhere off in the country! Best served nice and chilled overnight. It is perfect for this timenof the year in Florida because October is the time when the weather is getting cooler yet still sunny and warm. This prosecco is definitely made for this type of weather. For everyone else who is experiencing cold weather, save it for a nice spring day or cool summer morning.

The bottle itself is beautiful making it perfect for a birthday, housewarming or hostess gift! The Prosecco when chilled is also delicious- not too sweet but crisp and refreshing.
