Meh... :-p
I've had some delicious French Vanilla extract that was wonderful. This however tastes a bit strange and pungent. I tried this in no-bake cheesecake, white layer cake, buttercream frosting, brownies, and even coffee... Every use that I tried for it came out with a distracting and odd flavor. I kept trying to find a recipe that it tasted good in. Sadly, I could not. I'm an experienced 59 year old home cook. I think it was McCormick that had a better French Vanilla that tasted fresh ang yummy, like the ice cream flavor.
