A luminous taste of real Tuscany in a bottle. If you've ever wondered why some people get so passionate about olive oil, Frescobaldi Laudemio is the kind of bottle that makes you understand it in a single taste. This is not “just another oil” you toss into a pan and forget. It's a finishing ingredient that can quietly turn everyday food into something you're proud to serve. The first thing you notice is the aroma. When you open the bottle, you get that fresh, green scent of real olives, with hints of grass and artichoke. It already feels like a step above the usual supermarket oils. Then you taste it: clean, vibrant, and pleasantly peppery in the back of your throat. That little peppery kick is exactly what you want to feel with a high‑quality extra virgin olive oil—it's a sign of freshness and real character. What I've enjoyed most is how it changes simple dishes: A drizzle over sliced tomatoes and mozzarella suddenly tastes like a plate from a good Italian trattoria. Poured over warm crusty bread with a pinch of salt, it becomes a starter that guests remember. Over grilled vegetables, fish, or a steak, it adds brightness instead of heaviness. Even something as humble as scrambled eggs or a bowl of soup becomes richer and more fragrant with just a spoonful on top. You also don't need very much. A small drizzle at the end, right before serving, adds more flavor than a large amount of ordinary oil used in cooking. That means you can keep this as your “special” oil—used mainly for finishing salads, pasta, soups, bruschetta, and grilled dishes—so the bottle lasts longer than you might expect for a premium product. If you are curious about high‑end Italian olive oils but aren't sure where to start, this is a very friendly introduction. It lets you experience what chefs talk about: freshness, balance, and that lingering, pleasant finish that makes you want one more bite. It's the kind of ingredient that quietly teaches you the difference between “okay” and “exceptional.” In the spirit of making friends with your own kitchen, I'd say: give it one honest test. Take a food you already love—maybe your favorite salad, some roasted potatoes, or just good bread—and taste it side by side with your usual oil. Most likely, you'll feel the difference immediately. And once you taste it, you may find yourself looking for new excuses to cook just so you can use it again.
this oil rivals a higher price or over priced oils; good product for your hard earned money, get it before its gone! I take it For inflammation two TSPS in the morning also two TSPS before bed time; it does a good job for me thanks!
This is one of the best olive oils available. I primarily use it for baking and in making salads. The difference in taste is phenomenal. Very good product.
Great tasting olive oil at a great price for my daily shot of olive oil and lemon juice
The "BEST" olive oil on earth
It was the best tasting olive oil we had in Italy SO excited to have found it here.
This supposed very high end olive oil has a distinct bitter nuance on the front and back of the throat. I suspect it was not stored properly. Put that with an expiration date that is only 6 months makes this essentially a waste of money. I tried to find production date or best by before I bought but couldn't find it. Now I know why. I'd stay away.
I always buy good imported oils. Tasted a large tablespoon full . It happens to have a very bad taste. I can't imagine trying to cook with it and never put it on a salad . I will stick to using a Sicilian oil that I purchase often . I will definately return this Frescobaldi .
I was so excited to try this! Next time I guess I will have to pay more for fresh bottle I suppose and try again. You should pull the bottles that say 2023 on label. Mine was rancid. Very old
I didn't feel a higher polyphenol Olive Oil when I tasted it. And, this is supposed to be a great EVOO with higher polyphenol content. And, the Olive Oil is among the Highly rated. Ever since, the first time I tied it, it's been sitting somewhere in the kitchen. To my knowledge, something must have happened to the item.
