Helpful for the aloe vera gel

Barbara February 15, 2026

Review of fresh Aloe Leaf: I don't eat this; I use the gel, mainly as a skin salve. It's great during summer months when I used to get too much sun exposure. I purchased this for the gel, to see if it would help with a facial rash. Not sure yet, but the gel is cooling and feels good on the skin. Another potential usage is to put on skin tags and moles. Upon receiving the leaf, I cut it into segments (cutting off the sharp edges), then wrap each in a paper towel. Place in a small airtight container and refrigerate. It will last several weeks this way.

I love this stuff man. So many positive uses.

Aleacia July 13, 2026

Fresh aloe has a lot of benefits. Hair growth, digestive benefits, provides moisture to hair and helps with flaking. I would necessarily eat it because it's not prep for consumption. I have used leaves for so long in my hair care regiment. I suffer from dermatitis of the scalp and sometimes it cause flare up on any part of my face that has the most fine hair. One application of aloe and it's gone. I love this stuff.

Very Fresh %26 Great Value but Pick the Big Ones!

Tree July 13, 2026

Great Price! If you pick the larger thicker size you will get more aloe meat. You can do so many things with this leaf. To preserve the leftover leaf you can wash it and trim the prickle sides off. let the yellow drain out about 10 mins or so and rinse. Slice the whole leaf leaving the peeling on and store the slices in a jar, covering the pieces with water and it will last at least a good month or so. You peel the entire leaf and slice it and freeze them or blend it after peeling and make a hair mask. after detangling let it sit on your hair and then rinse. Thank me later!

Good for hair and skin!

Elaine July 18, 2025

Very good ! Love Love Love! Good source of gel for your hair and skin! Slice, soak in water overnight to release the yellow substance called aloe latex or aloin that is located between the skin (rind) and the inner gel of the leaf…that you do not want on your skin it will cause irritation. Aloe latex is a bitter tasting liquid that can have a laxative effect when ingested. The clear gel is what you're looking for very good for your entire body inside and out. Enjoy.

Both me and my duck had some wounds and skin issues. This worked better on me than the burn cream. I am extremely grateful. It also cleared up my face. The duck seemed to like how it tastes. It also helped him a lot with a wound on his foot. I will be keeping aloe on hand for now on. It is a great plant. It is a large size leaf too.

Aloe Vera is good for a lot of things, your hair, face, burns and you can even add it to your smoothie. It's very beneficial to your overall health. I would definitely recommend Aloe Vera to everyone.

I consume one or two of these each week to help with my stomach problems. The leaves are large and thick so im able to get a lot of gel from the insides. Sometimes they are damaged on the tip, sometimes thry spoil quickly. BUT because the price is so good i keep coming back for these.

I'm not usually disappointed in the service like this past pick up. The grapes were old and almost inedible and the lemons as well. All the produce was not carefully checked before putting them in bags to deliver them to me. I've been doing the pick up since even before pandemic and I'm only had these bad experiences a few times—just want to be fair.
