Both me and my duck had some wounds and skin issues. This worked better on me than the burn cream. I am extremely grateful. It also cleared up my face. The duck seemed to like how it tastes. It also helped him a lot with a wound on his foot. I will be keeping aloe on hand for now on. It is a great plant. It is a large size leaf too.

Good for hair and skin!

Elaine July 18, 2025

Very good ! Love Love Love! Good source of gel for your hair and skin! Slice, soak in water overnight to release the yellow substance called aloe latex or aloin that is located between the skin (rind) and the inner gel of the leaf…that you do not want on your skin it will cause irritation. Aloe latex is a bitter tasting liquid that can have a laxative effect when ingested. The clear gel is what you're looking for very good for your entire body inside and out. Enjoy.

Helpful for the aloe vera gel

Barbara February 15, 2026

Review of fresh Aloe Leaf: I don't eat this; I use the gel, mainly as a skin salve. It's great during summer months when I used to get too much sun exposure. I purchased this for the gel, to see if it would help with a facial rash. Not sure yet, but the gel is cooling and feels good on the skin. Another potential usage is to put on skin tags and moles. Upon receiving the leaf, I cut it into segments (cutting off the sharp edges), then wrap each in a paper towel. Place in a small airtight container and refrigerate. It will last several weeks this way.

Great product for ur skin and not sticky!

Meaghan August 29, 2025

Used this topically and it repaired my skin barrier better and faster than all the other expensive products I've tried this past year!! I'm pleasantly shocked!! It's not sticky like I thought it would be either.

Fresh and Reliable

Jae September 6, 2025

I love that Walmart always has Aloe leaves when I need them. I don't have a reliable homegrown option for these and I use them anytime I need a sunburn remedy and natural skin hydration. they are easy to use and alway very fresh.

Aloe Vera is good for a lot of things, your hair, face, burns and you can even add it to your smoothie. It's very beneficial to your overall health. I would definitely recommend Aloe Vera to everyone.

I consume one or two of these each week to help with my stomach problems. The leaves are large and thick so im able to get a lot of gel from the insides. Sometimes they are damaged on the tip, sometimes thry spoil quickly. BUT because the price is so good i keep coming back for these.

dislike that sometimes they choose any item not like when I pick up the best the bigger or good looking they pick small or not fresh fruits as I do when I go in person.

I'm not usually disappointed in the service like this past pick up. The grapes were old and almost inedible and the lemons as well. All the produce was not carefully checked before putting them in bags to deliver them to me. I've been doing the pick up since even before pandemic and I'm only had these bad experiences a few times—just want to be fair.

I ordered through Walmart pickup which I normally do not because I was affraid the shoppers would not pick quality items. I was right! The leaf was small with brown spots.
