Daily I eat almost a pound of carrots. Such a healthy snack . 🥕 Sometimes I will dip them into Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. My Belgian Malinois also like them as treats . The health benefits are too numerous to list so just Google carrots. You will be glad you did 😄
These held up well in the fridge compared to many and were reasonably sweet. Baby cut carrots are not baby carrots so you can't expect them to be as tender and sweet as the real thing. But usually they spoil by going slimy pretty quickly and these did not even when challenged as to how long they were in the fridge and with other foods that tend to make them spoil quickly. Would buy these again.
I use these when I make "poor boys" or "hobos" or whatever name you might have for them. I get a four count pack of hamburger patties, a couple potatoes and these baby carrots....peel the potatoes, slice 'em up and then lay out a sheet of Reynold's aluminum foil--put a hamburger patty down and cover it with half the potatoes and half the carrots, bake on 350 degrees for one hour and man oh man you got some good eatin'. The carrots are perfectly cooked (Not soggy or under cooked). And of course they make a great side for just about any meal but I suggest a hearty meatloaf!
I love these small carrots, they do not have a strong flavor and I seem to not over power my stews and roasts, when I use the smaller carrots. I do purchase a large bag and only use half a bag and freeze the rest, they last a long time and still taste fresh.
Not a fan of raw carrots but love to add them to a good roast in the crock pot, the idea being spend twenty minutes i the morning and you have a full pn start and forget meal six hours later not a lot pf prep and so good. Regular carrot you got to scrub, pr use a peeler on, chop them up into pieces 2 inches long then add them. Open a two pound bag the baby ones rince and ready just like that!
convenient but not as tender or flavorfull as a full carrot if you dont have the time or inclination to peel and cut and wash a full carrot then these baby cut carrots are fantastic they are a lttle more expensive than full carrots but not terribly do.
We have been using these for years and have always been pleased with the quality. We have a steamer which is best way we found for healthy meal prep. Very tasty and never overcooked. Great in salads, roasted, steamed, and directly out of the bag as a in-between- snack.
just realized they say best buy september 23rd which is 5 days before i ordered them. so glad i stopped eating them
When I didn't dislike is I just realized doing my crockpot dinner for tonight. I did not get my carrots. So now I just get potato and chicken with dinner tonight. For my crock pot I'm just never never got into any of my walmart bags.No carrots for dinner tonight .
Nothing bad about carrots. My complaint is with your delivery crew at Mid-Rivers store. Unbelieveably inflexible when delivering to car. Would not accept drivers license for identification. Insisted on delivery CODE. Luckily my wife was there to find it on her phone. Even the manager refused until seeng the code on my wfe's phone. Unbelieveable.
