Have to be honest, but These plumbs are picked ASAP before any softness to them, which I rather have, than to have some that are already to soft/mushy, past time to be eaten. As I have bought several of these, they are very firm, %26 doesn't have the "sweet" softness to them yet...BUT if you get them %26 put them in your refrigerator fruit/produce drawer for a couple days, you being to feel them soften up And are then naturally Sweet, tender, and juicy, just right for fresh fruit ready to eat... Some may even like %26 enjoy them better firm, a Lil tart, not as sweet, as each individual tastes are different. But always great in color, shape %26 make a great healthy snack for your cravings of a good snack!
These things are just plum good. I used to hate plums, but now I'm plum obsessed. I have plummeted in to the depths of plums... which also technically means I am a plummer now and I am very good at plumming. I could plum every day. Maybe I should start doing that. You should too if you also haven't been a plummer before. Maybe you will get plum obsessed as well.
It's been decades since I had plums and I wanted a couple for a couple different smoothie recipes. They looked great and fresh. They were sitting on the counter for a couple days when I used my first one. I could not believe how hard it was to cut into it. I also thought it added a strange taste to my smoothie. I finally got curious and looked up if they are supposed to be that hard just to find out they were unripe. Go figure! They looked and smelled great so I will buy them again and make sure they are ripe before I use them. It should be better then.
One of the plums was bad on top. It was discolored and soft. Food should be checked all around when picking this is not the first time it's happened.
Better communication with the person actually doing the shopping would be very helpful. Most don’t even give us the option. Also for some reason I have a hard time getting them to bring the correct type of fruit especially pears. They don’t pay attention.
Plum was hard and not ripe. I would have to put it in my fruit bowl, unrefrigerated for days to allow it to ripen, and today, when I ordered it from Walmart, I thought this would happen. nut it did not.
I did not receive fresh plums. Instead I received rotten red plums 😡... My problem is I am recovering from spine surgery. It's really difficult for me to go to Walmart to return them, therefore I will have to throw them away and loose my money 😤... and it's not the first time I receive damage fruit. I will have to order from another place.
I don’t know if these are mislabeled ir if the shopper doesn’t know the difference between a plum and a nectarine. They 100% brought two nectarines NOT PLUMS:-( and not only that but both nectarines were defective. One was molded and obvious stains of rot. The other had two holes in the skin and both were very hard. So even if I wanted or liked nectarines I would not %26 did not eat these!! I love plums and am VERY unhappy I didn’t receive my correct items
The ones I was delivered today were completely unripe. Looking forward to eating them in a month or six when they are ripe and not rock hard. Notice the purple of the advertised ripe fruit, and then look at these early plucked pearls.
I can say that I wasn't happy. I normally don't purchase my fruit or vegetables from here I purchase them from another well known market. I needed to make an order with out being charged a delivery charge. As far as my vegetables go I've had no issues yet. My fruit on the other hand wasn't good now you really couldn't tell it was bad until you cut it open then the fruit was all brown and had some mold, like I said I didn't know it was bad until I opened it. I don't purchase any of this said fruit I do purchase other produce though which I have had no issue with yet.
