It’s a lemon. Lemons are a good source of vitamin C and dietary fiber. Scientific name: Citrus limon. Origin: Evidence suggests lemons originated in northeastern India during the first millennium BC. The tart juice and zesty rind are used to add flavor to a wide variety of dishes. They are a key ingredient in lemonade and are often used to flavor water, tea, and other beverages. Lemons are used in marinades, dressings, sauces, and baked goods. Slices of lemon are a common garnish for fish, meat, and drinks. In addition lemon peel and juice are used in some cleaning products, soaps, and detergents. The fragrant blossoms and leaves are used in wreaths and bouquets.
I buy Fresh Lemons every week. Squeeze on fish, iced tea, lemonade, salad dressing, marinade, zest, gremolata, cocktails, bath detox, lemon water, cooking, cleaning, freshening, shining, brightening, baking, So Versatile! Of course I Buy Fresh Lemons every week!
June 5th order, they provided HUGE, delicious KINGS RIVER lemons. OMG! I ended up literally eating 1/2 of the 1st one I sliced, like an apple ... peels and all. I've never had it seen such beautiful lemons. 🤞🏼 Hopefully that brand will become the standard here locally.
fresh lemon that I got. i ordered three fresh lemons and I got three fresh lemons, and they were amazing and as i needed. i needed them to make a delicious mint drink that comes with freshly squeezed lemons and limes, and i didn't have time to go to the grocery or to the fruit market, and so i thought of getting it delivered to Walmart as i anyways made a Walmart order and Walmart plus delivery same day is free if you buy for $35 and up, so i anyways had that. so i just added three lemons and three limes and the mint drink came out amazing. the lemons that they sent were fresh and ripe, not like you sometimes get through phone deliveries from fruit market stores. they had a nice bright yellow color and felt firm but not hard, and when i cut them they were juicy and gave alot of juice with very little effort. they were pretty good to use, yet not overripe, and the smell was very fresh and strong lemon smell like real citrus should be. the rest are now on my fridge waiting for another delicious thing that i make with fresh lemons as they were fresh and yellow and juicy and robust. another thing i liked is that the skin wasnt too thick so it was easy to squeeze and didnt waste much juice inside. i also noticed there were no bad spots or bruises which sometimes happens with fruit delivery but this time it was clean and good quality. they held up nicely in the fridge for a few days without going soft too fast. i used one for the mint drink and it really made the taste fresh and not bitter or fake tasting at all. i also like that it saved me time be
The lemon was fine.but the other things have gotten zero response. I ordered two boxes of banana flavored twinkies and they sent the golden flavor without asking if it was ok. It's not ok.i ordered these for a man in hospice care and he wanted that certain flavor. Walmart never responded or did anything about it. .I'm going to start my grocery shopping at another chain now calledhy vee
I ordered six lemons @ .60 each. Oddly, I received a total variation of sizes, the smallest one being the size of a key-lime! If the lemons aren't similar in size, why are the associates picking such drastic size differences for the same price per lemon?! I definitely won't be ordering fresh lemons from Walmart anymore - it was a total rip-off paying 60¢ per lemon to begin with, considering how small they were, but then to throw in a key-lime sized one, that's ridiculous! 👎 I didn't even think to take pictures, because I so seldomly do reviews. However, I will definitely include pictures of the super under-ripe (green) russet potatoes I got when I submit that review.
The last lemons I got were just little knots and it's unusual to get really nice bananas. I order and pay for individual bananas but apparently the shoppers can't or don't read instructions and I get “bunch” bananas that I often have to discard more than I can use . I order my groceries because I am unable to shop, not because it's easier. I would love to be able to select fruits %26 veggies for myself. I truly appreciate the shoppers that aim to please
this review is for the entire order for customer service. I did not receive an item on my order and after 2 days of trying to get through. 6 phone calls, 3 chats and holding for over an hour and no one answering, I give up!! I will dispute the charges through my bank
It would be nice if the Walmart Assoc that shops for your delivery or pick up order would select produce as if they were chiosing for themselves personally. These lemons were some of the worse that I've ever seen. The apple selected had a bruise with a cut in the top.
I received a rotten lemon chosen by one of the Walmart shoppers for my Curbside Pickup. Needless to say I was very disappointed! This shouldn't have even been out for shoppers to purchase but I understand things like this happen but have chosen it, placed into a produce bag then picked up again to place on the weight scale and or into a shopping bag was incredibly disappointing!
