This lettuce is so great, its actually leafy instead of all the stems. Highly recommended. This is the only lettuce i will eat. If you like an actual leafy lettuce, this is it.
This letter makes more sense for me the way it’s packaged —the fact that it’s still living… I just keep that root ball wet so It lasts for weeks. I don’t throw away. Good lettuce anymore. The leaves are so soft I can wrap them around something to make a little healthy taco.
This is my favorite lettuce. it is pretty, full of nutrients and has taste. it can be used in salads, on sandwiches and as pretty wraps. Just fill with checken salad, or marinated chicken and other Thai ingredients, etc. i didnt give a 5 star because they are smaller than usual and almost twice the cost from before.
Used to be consistently decent, but lately it’s too hit or miss and they’re always low in stock or unavailable besides. When I do manage to get 2 live heads delivered at a time, one can be plump, dense, thick enough for 2-3 salads, and worth the spend. The other one is almost always light, sparse, and too pathetic even for one small salad. And they oftentimes arrive with a few limp, browning leaves so you have to eat them fast before it spreads… defeating their whole purpose of staying alive a bit longer between grocery shops for fresh veggies! I’m going to start getting my lettuce heads in-person elsewhere.
Butter Lettuce and celery were not fresh or edible because they were freeze-burned, so we had to throw them away. I didn’t take photos because it was New Year's Eve. Too busy. We’ve noticed that when we order vegetables from the Produce section, they don’t pick up the fresher ones but the old ones or rotten ones. I’ve called Walmart right away every time this happened. PLEASE, SEND US FRESH VEGETABLES. Thanks for your attention.
Who ever is doing the shopping for deliver items should be ashamed of themselves. Paid $2.98 for the tiniest head of butter lettuce I have ever seen! It’s not even enough to make a salad with. Ridiculous! Plus, 2lbs of slimy organic carrots that expire 7/18……6 days! Really???!!! The romaine %26 spinach mix are wilted %26 will probably have to throw half of it out! Food is extremely expensive! I don’t know many people that can afford to throw away money on spoiled food. Shoppers need to stop selecting lousy, about to be expired/spoiled produce for their customers. This isn’t the first time either. I pay for the service %26 would like to get what I order without having to throw away items
As others have said, this is now tiny. I have purchased this before, but it is now easily half the size I've received before. I thought maybe there were two sizes, but no, just the one size, but it's now almost either funny, or you should consider buying two. The size of the leaes tiny, too. Shrinkflashion is in full swing.
I have been buying this for a long time, but the last 3 were junk. They eere more than an entire month stale dated. I don't blame the product. I blame Walmart and their lazy employees who neither pull slimy lettuce nor take the 10 seconds to look at the dates and use their head .
This head of lettuce was so tiny, many of the leaves were brown and wilted and it was mostly roots. I have gotten fresh produce delivered many times and this time it was very disappointing. I just can’t believe that someone looked at this head of lettuce and felt that it was an appropriate choice.
This lettuce was rotten and you could easily see it, I feel like whoever picked this did not pay any attention to this and I am very upset, if this is how your pickers do my order maybe I should look elsewhere when it’s time to renew my service with WalMart . Very upset
