Fresh cantaloupe wasn't fully ripe when I received it in my order today, but, that is too be expected as this is March and it's not really cantaloupe season yet. I decided to not refrigerate mine and left it out on the counter. The heat and humidity in my home was enough to start the ripening process. I have had these before and once ripened they are very flavorful. Great for snacks or fruit salads. As an added bonus the seeds can be saved, dried and stored so that you can plant them and grow your own cantaloupe.
this home delivery service means so much more than you could imagine, being a senior with limited mobility, I apprexiate able to place my grocery order and in a few hrs its delivered to my home, items are always fresh %26 order is always filled more than satisfactory. Your delivery persons are always very pleasant and will place my order on my kitchen counter for me. This is a tru blessing, Thank you so very much for all you do
I bought this fruit during my last Walmart grocery order. We had a quarter of this cantaloupe for an evening snack. When cutting into this fruit, found it a bit overly ripe, but we each ate a slice. I would suggest using the cantaloupe the same day you receive it.
I have bought several cantaloupes from you and they have been green which is ok because I know they have to be shipped. I just let them sit out a few days to ripen. My issue is that they have been beat up it to the point that they rot before they get ripe. All employs need to learn to be careful when handling them. Thank you! I have bought many cantaloupes from WM and this is the first time I’ve received such a poor quality cantaloupe but it was mushy when I cut it open. My husband took one small bite and said “Throw it away!” I did and then contacted WM Customer Service and they immediately refunded my money.
I’ve bought several cantaloupes from Walmart recently that were perfect. But this is the first time I bought from the 45th St. store in West Palm Beach and the cantaloupe was all bruised and couldn’t be used. I had to throw it away. It’s amazing how incompetent some of the personal shoppers are at Walmart. They can’t manage to pick decent produce for customers. I wonder how they shop for themselves? Walmart needs to do better.
i ordered 2 cantalope and they both had a large soft spot on one side..something i know the picker would have noticed. i had to cut atleast half of the cantalope away due to spoilage. They never should have been picked for anyones grocery order. I will be requesting a refund.
100% absolute bad purchase. cantaloupe never tasted like cantaloupe. never could get it to ripen up. one tasted like crap after waiting for two weeks and then refrigerating. the other one waited one and a half weeks opened it it's still not right and tastes terrible. I will never buy cantaloupe from Walmart ever again.
When I have groceries delivered and order cantaloupe, here lately they try to pass off a white flesh melon has cantaloupe. I received one cantaloupe out of four that I ordered. The white flesh melon usually have a bad smell when you slice them open and the inside is usually mush. So delivery buyer beware
cantaloupe was rotten!! Are you trying to get people sick?? stop selling us rotten food. if your employees wouldn't put it in their cart, dont freaking put it in mine!!!! I'm sick of buying fruit that needs to be thrown away, not sold to the public!!!
