Fresh Celery Sticks, 20 oz Bag

My bag of celery sticks arrived fresh and crisp and it saved me all the time of having to cut off the leaves and dispose of the stem. Very easy to store too by just putting it into the drawer or a green bag. The green bag is preferred to keep them fresh longer. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

These are my favorite celery! I don’t know what it is but it is less bitter than other celery, always juicy and super crispy. Some celery is kinda woody and dry but not this one. I eat these all the time and am disappointed when I have to get a substitute with another brand.

I bought two bags of sliced celery. I am disabled and this is easiest for me. I have been having problems with the quality of the produce for a while. There is regularly produce that has started to get too old to eat in each bag. This time, nearly one whole bag was turning bad! I have severe digestive issues, and NONE of that celery is edible for me! (That stuff that has started to turn.) The pictures we took don't show it well, but the discolored stalks are actually browning as well. Celery this bad is toxic for people...it shouldn't be eaten, and it's worse the older it gets. This is a total rip off! The pictures show both bags combined. The larger pile is the stuff we can use, but will have to be used quickly. The only slightly smaller pile is the bad, and the shot of only SOME of the bad is there first. I can't walk. I can't go to the store. I can't afford groceries as often as I want, and not the organic stuff I need the most. When I order the delivery service, it's even MORE expensive, but I have little choice. When the stuff that comes is bad, turning bad, a day or two before it's expiration date, I may as well have just thrown all that money away! DO BETTER WALMART! THIS IS WRONG!

The celery was the worst purchase I have ever made from Walmart period! And it was a pick up order! I have pictures of the celery and the rotten bananas and the busted pepper! But this celery I can’t believe Walmart employees would sale this to anyone..especially a pick up order!!! Your business is only as good as the employees who represent it! This was from a Supercenter and I receive better produce from Aldi’s than I received from this location

Read reviews that arent pushed to the top and hear for yourself. I ordered 2-3 bags per trip and even on day one 20-30% of the celery is unusable due to rot or deep dents that are softened. Aside from that the stalks are crudely cut as of they used a hammer instead of a knife to cut the stalks. Most ends are split and broken. Half the edible stalks are pale and flavorless. Out of three bags of celery, you can expect 6-10 sticks to be properly cut and suitibly green. Buyer (eater) beware.

Again, this is not the celery I ordered. I was sent another brand of celery. I do not like it. The other brand that was sent to me evidently by another company is not better and I throw most of it out please send me the brand and the label that I sent by the picture. I am so disappointed in this everybody should be awareyou are not getting the same celery if you’re ordering the picture that I ordered for sweet celery.

I ordered two packages of celery. Once I returned home and received my order, I noticed that one package of the celery is filled with water and they're soft as if they were frozen and defrosted. I’m so tired of opening my groceries And finding the produce brown and rotten and mushy and inedible. Why is it on the shelf like this? Why don’t the shoppers notice it? And because I bought this two days ago but I’m now just opening it… It’s not eligible for refund. The entire stalk is brown and slimy.

At first when I used to order this celery, the person who picked it was careful and they were nice but now every time that order them, they come so awful and disgusting. So dirty like if they when to the farm and cut it and brighten with mud. And sometimes they are like the past the due date so awful 🙄👎 and now they gave me another brand too 👎👎👎👎 this photos are from the last two time I order, today and the last time. That’s why I don’t prefer this like before because they are sending me this trash that I have to keep throwing away 😠👎

The first thing I noticed when I opened these was that the ends were very wilted and withered. Upon taking them out of the bag, it was obvious that they had been partially frozen as there were marks on the stalk that had thawed and were slimy. The parts I was able to salvage were ok and were crisp with good flavor. I ended up salvaging a few of the sticks and threw the rest of the bag away. I will not buy again.
