I take two quarters and seer them in my cast iron skillet with salt and pepper, just enough to lightly brown. Skin side down for a couple of mins. Than turn skin side up for another min. or two. Than place the skillet uncovered in a 400 degree oven for 35-40 min. Quick and very easy and tastes great ! Thanks, Brent
who doesn't like chicken and who doesn't like value well that's what these give you and I usually have them every week you can barbecue him cook them in soy and recently I cooked some chicken and soy and coca cola and it was delicious
The only thing wrong was that there was only 3 larger leg quarters instead of the 4 that I was expecting to feed 4 people, and of course they tasted good and tender because I baked them! lol
These are routine legs for routine prices with routine flavor, but they need to be cleaned better they have feathers and intestines in the back cavities.
I understand I'm 'inconveniencing' the Walmart by ordering pickup, but maybe don't use my order to get rid of some old meat that's literally going to expire the next day after I paid full price for it. They do the same thing with eggs, and especially milk and produce, and it's incredibly annoying. Only gave it two stars and not one star because they didn't give me any hassle getting a refund. Please go to the physical store to pick up your meats and produce, because it feels like they give you the worst product just to get it off the shelves.
they left the back spine kidneys and pancreas on the thigh leg chicken pieces. I thought I was purchasing thighs with leg intact. I had 3 packages and ended up spending an hour cleaning them removing the spine and organs. soaked all in salt water to remove blood.
I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me complete the review if not, but now they don't deserve any stars because we didn't get the substitution nor what we ordered but I wouldn't have chose the substitution because it was only 5 pounds for $1.57 pound whereas I was ordered 10 pound for $.62 a pound I'm not happy and I really wanted them to just resend my chicken so I could have supper tonight
It is overpriced simply because there are bits of organ meat in package, a heavy amount of "excess" fat and skin to be cut off that runs beyond the leg and thigh and a bunch of gross pin feathers as well. So, I'm sure the meat is fine as I haven't eaten it yet. But to store it in my freezer, I must have cut off or thrown away a pound or more of excess fat and skin and feather bits. That's not right Walmart! This is the only pack of whole legs you sell. I would like a smaller pack of thighs and legs to be available for single people please.
this is not what i ordered. I was supposed to get a 10 pound cag of chicken lef quarters and got a 6 pound tray of four leg quarters and i would like to be reimbursed for the difference.
I didn't want this item. I asked for 5 pound bag of chicken that could feed my entire family and instead I received 4 pieces of chicken in a pack. Dissatisfied with the substitution and wasn't able to change it.
