When I talk to people and tell them that I get all my groceries delivered, they always say well I like to pick out my own produce. However, I have found that the Walmart shoppers always pick out good produce for me. These apples are an excellent example of that they are delicious and healthy and yummy.!!!!!🤤
I like to buy these individually, I find better apples than the ready bagged. These apples are crisp, sweet and juicy. Perfect eating apple, great with cheddar cheese or caramel. I've not cooked this variety but it's probably tasty too. Find a nice. firm apple and enjoy!
I pack my lunch at 4:00 a.m. I slice up a cosmic crisp apple, put it in an airtight container, and it's still sweet and incredibly crisp when I eat lunch at 11:00 a.m. It doesn't brown and keeps its taste. Pairs really well with peanut butter. Worth the cost.
These are the only apples I purchase now. Sweet and juicy and oh so crisp. The size is big enough to share with another person and my husband and I share one each day. I use to be a honey crisp shopper, but these have out surpassed the honey crisp and even the pink ladies. Please continue to carry these always they are amazing. Thank you
Cosmic Crisp Apples truly are out of this world “Delicious” without a doubt! I went to slice my apple for dessert this evening and out of nowhere my family were swarmed around me like honeybees! At least I was able to keep half of my apple with my side of crunchy peanut butter. The crispy, crunch in every bite is what keeps us all coming back for more! This apple was extremely large so I had plenty to share. I have been hooked for many months since discovering this delicious apple! It is a crowd pleaser in our household from all ages!
These Cosmic apples are exceptional. Juicy, crisp, sweet, and large in size, they are the best apples I have ever purchased. I cut them into simple slices with sandwiches or as a snack. They make a great dessert baked with cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and butter. I have never had one with a bad spot which most apples have. Never mushy with a sweet crisp peel gives them a better flavor in my apple salad with pecans. Even the peel adds to the flavor in recipes I use them. One of the few raw fruits I can use in every meal! I even cut them up for my oatmeal.
These are my favorite apples but when they deliver them I usually get a poor quality apple. If you have ever seen the left overs after the bin has been picked through, that is what I am receiving, the leftovers. I'm not buying these anymore for that reason. In the fruit industry these should have been separated as culls and used for apple sauce. The problem only occurs when delivered, because if you buy at the store you can sort through the apples and chose quality. The apples that are being delivered are culls, blemishes, discoloration, puncture marks, bruises and scrapes are example of the apple when delivered. Often over ripe. These apples are generally not very fresh and sometimes are soft rather than crisp. I do not like soft apples.
This is what Walmart does- their pickers pick crappy produce, and you pay the price. No longer getting produced delivered because they scam you out of $$.
Apples were soft, one had a big black hole that had rotted into the apple. How could any person put an apple in a bag with a black hole in it, and think that’s okay!!!!
Cut top to bottom in thin slice. After the third day I noticed it does not turn brown to air. It didn't change over 10 days it still looks fresh. What have you created? Plastic apple. I don't support extreme shelf life in my fresh food because shelf life in gut not ok. The apples are too big and waxy in appearance.
