Is 5 bags of cranberries enough?

Rob December 19, 2025

Cranberry is a must have on our table for the holidays. Being short on time, and I have always tried to find the ocean spray brand. I took the chance on these cranberries and boy were they delicious, from 5 bags i had less than a half cup of bad berries. I got to enjoy nearly every cranberry. Keep getting these cranberries from wherever and whom ever. They certainly were delicious and among the best I have found in years.

Great Thanksgiving recipe!

Senior December 1, 2025

One of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes, cranberry, orange and pecan relish. Take each item and grind in the food processor, add white sugar, or white Splenda sugar, and let sit in the fridge overnight. Delicious! A cup of the mix is great added to a white cake mix!

Great bargain...lots of juicing happening now

Anonymous December 3, 2025

Bought lots of bags during the rollback sale and do not regret it. made cranberry juice and canned it up, made cranberry orange relish for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and making cranberry/orange jam for canning up to use year round. They were fresh, and firm and wonderful taste....and a bargain at $.97 a bag

💫Best sauce I ever made!

Anonymous December 8, 2025

Oh wow! I made homemade sauce and it was SO GOOD! So easy...put in bowl with cup of water and SUCRALOSE, dash of cinnamon and cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high til its whole berry sauce! Takes like 7 minutes total. Thickens as it cools. It is SO GOOD on turkey or in salad or on sf ice cream etc etc.

Hard to mess up cranberries

James December 4, 2025

Made homemade cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. Cook these down along with frozen strawberry slices and added monk fruit sugar for a delicious preserve. Taste so much better than plain cranberries and can be used to spread on toast or other other foods… it's hard to mess up cranberries.

Many rotted berries. Yes, the price was reduced, but they should have been thrown away, not put on sale. Even one rotten berry would ruin the cranberry sauce. Unfortunately this confirms the generally unfounded perception that Walmart produce is of poor quality. I have previously found it to be entirely acceptable, but not this time.

My order was for fresh strawberries. I was travelling while my order processed and missed an email offering me a choice of this substitution. I could not respond in time so. I received cranberries. Hardly a logical substitute. Walmart can do better.

Ruined cranberries 🤢

Monica December 22, 2025

All Of these cranberries were bad. I did come in that afternoon to get more and chalk it up to a loss but there were none so I hope No one else received bad ones. I ended up going to Food Giant and getting them for A LOT more than WalMart but they were needed badly in my Cakery. I just made another Walmart delivery order with fresh fruits and vegetables. I hope they are all good or I'll just stop doing this and come and to find better product.

More than half of each bag i ordered were rotten!

Brenda December 24, 2025

It appears Walmart is storing their cranberries on a warm shelf again this year. Last year when I pointed it out to an employee I was basically told that i didn't know what I was talking about and to mind my own business. I had to throw out about half of each bag as they were very soft and squishy. i do not recommend buying fresh cranberries from Walmart. In my pictures the plastic container holds bad cranberries vs. amount of good berries i got.
