The amount of cilantro in the packet is great for a single meal or even for a 2-person dinner. However, when you can buy a bunch of cilantro that has more in it, for less money….makes it kinda hard to justify getting this. I mean, you still have to wash it and cut it the same as you would a bunch of cilantro. If you only need a small amount and don’t mind paying more money to waste less, this may work for you. I will go back to buying regular bunches of cilantro
Pictures show the quality of the cilantro leaves. Wilted…. I know not everything can be prefect but only part of this is usable.
I opened the clamshell package as soon as I received it with my Walmart order because I wanted to check for freshness, as I plan to use it today in my Bistec Mexicana recipe today. Not only was the bunch, or fraction of a "bunch" VERY TINY, the cilantro was all soft and wilted, and the fragrance wasn't there. Poor product and quite expensive, considering what a fresh bunch of cilantro costs from the produce shelves. I somehow thought that herbs protected inside a plastic clamshell might be fresher and crisper. I was wrong. Fresh, loose cilantro bunches are typically 5 times larger at a fraction of the price. I see no advantage to buying cilantro (or any other fresh herbs) in these pricey clamshells. This was my first time, but I won't be doing it again.
Too little product for the price. This would be good if you didn’t need much cilantro and the fresh bunch cilantro was not available. This clamshell costs 2 times more than the fresh bunch and you only get about 20% of the amount you get in a fresh bunch. The package I received also had a couple of rotted leaves. I will never buy this again.
I hate this cilantro in the clamshell! A real rip off for the price and the amount you get. I'd have to buy 5 or 6 boxes of this to get even close the amount I got with the fresh bunches! Please bring back the fresh bunches of cilantro, I beg you!!!!
i was offered this as a substitution due to the store not having the fresh bunches available... i declined the substitution and got a message stating the site was having troubles and it didn't decline... i messaged the shopper and got no response but still received said product, with literally 6 stems for almost twice the price of the fresh bunch!!! Whats the point of having the chat with shopper option if they arent going to respond to messages!!!???
Well, couldn't figure this one out cilantro! This is a typically Hispanic store, not trying to point fingers sorry but they had a huge display of this. I got the same thing in my back well back to the cilantro so they had boxes and boxes and boxes of this stuff but for some reason, whoever was pulling the order couldn't find it that was I do believe either $.99 or $1.09 for the order so they got me the $2.99 version. I'm sorry $1.99 version and came upstairs and gave it to me for an extra dollar then since it's on its way we received it. I was so now I spent an extra $.70 on something I still can't use that cilantro was dry and spots the leaves were brown golden brown, and was absolutely useless so something I could never use yeah
This is a very tiny amount of cilantro for almost 2 dollars. Any other store would've given you a full bunch of cilantro for the amount of money charged!!
walmart picker for my order needs retraining on how NOT to send rotting food to the customer. even though product says fresh herbs the cilantro is old and rotting. i had to throw out 5 stalks of this already sparse product quantity.
I just ordered a bunch of cilantro I ordered it on my last order also and it was out of stock and now they sent me this other one I don't know the quality but it was not what I ordered
