We enjoy dill in many dishes, especially cold salads. There's nothing that gives potato salad a special twist like a little dill. We also make our own homemade Tzatziki sauce for gyros and as a dip for pita chips, tortillas, and etc. Tzatziki sauce is so easy and cheap to make, and you can even freeze it. Not to mention, it's a healthier dip that's good on the gut. So, the next time you're shopping for ingredients to make homemade potato salad (or add some fresh dill to spruce up the store-bought variety), macaroni salad, or other cold salads, don't forget the DILL!
I was getting ready to can some pickles and noticed I didn't have fresh dill so I made a quick order to Walmart and while I was getting stuff prepared Walmart was getting my order ready and delivered it join time to put dill in the jars. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. It looked like it was just picked. Good stuff. Thanks Walmart.
This is the only deal I've ever received. It was so fresh and loaded, which is highly unusual. They were not limp This dill is on steroids. And they last a long time in the fridge, I don't know who grows these, but this person needs to be acknowledged
This was a good buy. A good handful of fresh fill for a few dollars. It was a nice dill taste, perfect for on top of my foods and salads. Crispy and earthy flavor and beautiful green color. It also kept really well in the packaging. I used this on top of my sour cream and pierogi
my favorite dill. Recipe calls for fresh dill, nothing I garden in forever. love the fragrance and taste and look forward to use what's left on other recipes and probably reorder.
There was not enough in that clamshell to make it a decent buy. I am glad WM keeps selling it because some recipes call for it. However, doesn't go far at all when making pickles
This package of dill had been opened and there was very little dill in the package , like it all fell out. Some of it was hanging out of the package. The dill was also wilted. Also I had ordered a package of banana popsicles, which are melted, very soft, I put them in the freezer, hopefully they will be ok. I also got a pineapple that I didn't order.
Every time I order it for delivery you put it on something cold that destroys the delicate fronds! It is worthless in that condition! I have suggested for a very long time you do not refrigerate it before you deliver it. Instead treat it like dry goods. Then maybe I wouldn't have to ask for a refund Every Single Time I order fresh herbs from you! Last week it was my fresh basil!
I found the dill to be slimy and smelly. It was unusable, and I did not incorporate it into my cooking at all. It never went into my fridge; it went straight to the trash. It is disappointing that, as of late, produce from Walmart pickup has been very poor quality.
Smelled up my whole kitchen the first day. It said leave at room temperature. I did and the following morning at 72 degrees slimy. The basil was not as bad so I put it in a paper towel in the fridge. Same thing opened the towel to slime How does it go bad in 2 days , it's like self destruction once it leaves the store. Sticking to dry herbs.
