As all the Fresh Dolls, this doll really capture lifelike features of an African American male with Locs or Braids. It is just an handsome doll! It has great movement and is made of good quality materials! I have bought my daughter at least 5 of the fresh dolls and this doll does not disappoint. Love It!!

I am super pleased with my purchase of the The Fresh Doll Kahlil. The flexibility of his body allows him to be positioned with ease. Kahlil's hair is braided well and can be manipulated. He is the height of a Barbie Ken doll. I was searching for quality Black male dolls to accompany my Black female dolls and The Fresh Dolls are excellent.

Posable doll. Tall with nice hair. Only dislike is the eyes are printed, looks like stickers. But doll is different then regular barbie so im satisfied.

The arms are terrible and annoying. For some reason, this company decided to change the arm joints. Instead of having a ball joint, it's now two hinge joints. It literally makes absolutely no sense why they would do this. First of all, it limits the arm movement. When you put two hinge joints on doll arms, you make up for the lack of movement by adding a rotating joint usually on the bicep lines. This doll lacks arm rotation so he looks super stiff all the time. He can't pretend to eat food, can't put a phone up to his ear, HE CAN'T EVEN PUT HIS ARM INTO THE POCKETS ON HIS HOODIE! The original fresh squad dolls had ball joints for elbows so they could do all of that and more. They were more expressive even though they had less joints! Second of all, this doll had no reason to make such a big change. Usually two elbow joints means the arm can bend more. This doll's arms only bend 90 degrees, JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL ARM JOINT! Why change it at all when the original bent 90 degrees AND had rotation. I don't know much about doll production but I do follow Dr Lisa on Instagram. In one of her live videos, she said the female dolls don't have wrist articulation because it's expensive to do that and they didn't have the money to do that at that moment. But the male dolls were able to get entirely new and terrible elbows? Did they want to make the male fresh dolls' articulations as bad as the female fresh dolls'? I'm just so disappointed with this change. I just can't understand the need to make such an unnecessary and terrible decision. This is the first time the fresh squad is affordable and they had such a huge downgrade. In my pictures, I'll show a Made to move Ken doll, a fresh doll, and a doll with a ball joint arm. I tried to do the same arm movement on all dolls. Walmart limits only 6 photos. I really hope they go back to the original elbow joint. It does so much more for kids' play and imagination. Other random things to mention. 1. The joints are loose. They move like crazy. They're so hard to stand up because the joint will bend to any small pressure put on them. 2. The hair is a lovely texture. Kiwi nylon in braids. But nylon is springy so his hair is constantly sticking up. Wish the braids were longer to weigh themselves down. 3. The hoodie has no opening on the back. It's like a real hoodie. Kinda of difficult to take off. The shorts are fraying so you might wanna finish the edges yourself. The shoes are cool. Loving the materials of the clothes though.

I brought FreshSquad doll and opened it and it was smached and destroyed and I'm not happy and will never order from Wal-Mart again !
