I recently tried fresh dragon fruit, and it was such a unique and enjoyable experience. The bright pink skin and speckled interior make it look almost too pretty to eat, but once you cut it open, it’s definitely worth it. The flavor is mildly sweet and refreshing, kind of like a mix between a kiwi and a pear, but more subtle. It’s not overly sugary, which makes it perfect for a light snack or adding to smoothies and fruit bowls. The texture is soft with a slight crunch from the tiny black seeds, giving it a really pleasant bite. What I also appreciate is how hydrating and light it feels great for warmer days or when you want something healthy without feeling too full. The only downside is that sometimes the flavor can be a bit bland if it’s not perfectly ripe, but when you get a good one, it’s delicious. Overall, fresh dragon fruit is a fun, nutritious addition to your diet and definitely worth trying if you’re looking to mix up your fruit routine.
My dragon fruit looked terrible I tried three times to purchase from Walmart all three times they showed signs of being not ready to be sold they showed signs of being rotted at the root before cutting I was not impressed with it I'm very disappointed
The delivery part was nice and convenient. The rest of the service is not so great. I did not get all of the items I ordered and what they exchanged them for was absolutely unacceptable to me. The produce was damaged and it was not fresh. I will not be using the service again.
I don't like dragonfruit, so I cant PERSONALLY speak to this item, but my son that I bought it for said it was "nasty." So I can safely say this was not the same quality that he has had previously. Of note, this was part of a delivery order, so perhaps there is something to look for when you purchase in-store to ensure its proper ripeness
didn't taste like they're supposed to taste. I can't put a name to the exact problem with the way they were, which isn't very helpful to anyone reading this, but it just wasnt right. I normally love this strange fruit. i get a kick out of people's reaction to what the inside lioks like. i always ask someone who hasnt ever had dragonfruit what color they think it is on inside. Lol. I've never had someone guess "white w black polka dots" or close to correctly.
HORRIBLE!! i ordered one Dragon Fruit with my grocery's delivery program foe $4.95 and was given a rotten unripe fruit! No one "Cares" about the customer nor the people hired to pick these grocery items especially Walmart Management. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCE BY THE DELIVERY PROGRAM!
I highly recommend to not order anything online when it comes to fruits or vegetables. I ordered a bunch of stuff for a salad and a bunch of stuff for a fruit salad, and nothing was ripe. A few of the things did ripen like the avocados but everything else took forever to get right and then had no flavor at all whatsoever. I bought a dragon fruit and it was terrible. It was so bland. It was almost like flavorless fruit.
rotten and mold and expensive not ok
The fruit I received was rotten could not use. The people that pick the items should look at the fruit before they put it on someone’s basket very unhappy.
When I got home and unpacked the dragon fruit that I paid for was rotten. The shopper either doesn’t care or needs training. Either way I paid for something that was useless and got thrown away! I didn’t take a picture of it because t was gross and nasty!
