Maybe I just didnt read it but I was pleasantly surprised to open this and find not only are these prewashed but they are cut into individual leafs making it VERY convenient—I would buy it again just because of that. They were crisp and delicious too. Yes pls and ty.
We usually purchase these packaged Romaine Lettuce as they tend to be fresher and remain fresher longer than buying loose heads of lettuce. Not certain if that’s related to the packaging, but the lettuce seems to last much longer. This is the organic version, while there’s also a regular version called Crunchy Lettuce. Highly recommended.
The quality of this lettuce has gone downhill. My previous order had bugs in it. This order the leaves were brown. This is not acceptable, especially for organic triple washed lettuce. Not to mention the fact that customers are paying more for the product and there’s less product in the container.
Dear Manager, Please ensure that your Quality Control team thoroughly inspects all products early in the morning before the store opens. This proactive measure will prevent customers who place early orders due to urgent needs from experiencing any inconvenience or potential health risks associated with consuming these products. By taking these precautions, you can significantly reduce the likelihood of legal disputes. You have the opportunity to improve your operations and provide a better shopping experience for your customers. Kind regards, A hopeful customer !!!
We opened it and immediately had to throw it away because it was infested with black and red bugs. It says it's triple washed, and there's just no way. Can not believe what I just opened and saw. I'm not talking a few bugs, I'm talking THOUSANDS! It was gross and a complete waste of money. Not to mention it ruined taco night 🙄. DO BETTER!
LIVE BUGS! This used to be my favorite romaine. I paid more because I trusted it was clean, fresh and no bugs. Not anymore! I thought the first time was a fluke but each time I purchased it was the same. If I need to thoroughly wash, clean and disinfect my lettuce, I might as well get the cheaper brand.
I’m allergic to pesticides and antibiotics so I’m forced to buy organic. Every time I get produce it seems to be bad. The lettuce leaves are slimy, red or all split and showing signs of age even if their date isn’t expired. I’m disabled and do not drive. I pay Walmart plus to deliver. The app refuses to refund me without returning my rotten produce which is very rude! Make it make sense!
This is the second time the Romain product was wet and gone in one day, only able to get the tip of each one to use, but could not go with the whole leaf because it was showing that it was rotten already brown spots going traveling up to the stem and out, so I'd like to get my money back. It's been better though this one was just really bad.
The packaging says it is triple washed and ready to eat. THIS SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH...THERE IS DIRT THROUGHOUT THE LETTUCE. This is a very serious mislabeling.somebody can get very sick as Im sure that there is pesticide with the dirt, etc. still on the lettuce. This product needs to be removed from your inventory. I've attached pictures before throwing out the package of lettuce.
I was able to salvage a few Romain lettuce leaves but the majority of the Romaine was inedible and went into the trash bin. Why is it so hard for Wal-Mart to provide fresh produce? I learned my lesson. No more produce from Walmart.
