Delicious juicy apples 🍎 Great surprise! You can eat them even if you don’t have teeth. They kinda just melt in your mouth Dripping with juices They were on sale for $2.96 per 3 pound bag so , I thought why not give them a try glad I did!
always keeping this in my fridge they are great for anything you want from eating them plain to making them with an apple pie I love their crispness and the size is just perfect for snacks
Gala apples are one of the sweetest varieties out there and these do not disappoint. I have a real sweet tooth and these hit the spot every time. Every bag I’ve picked up from Walmart has been consistently good, which is not always easy to find with fresh produce. They are crisp, fresh, and full of flavor right out of the bag. I also love running them through my dehydrator and keeping a stash of dehydrated apple slices on hand for evening snacks. They work beautifully for that. If you’re looking for a reliably sweet and crisp apple that holds up well whether you’re eating them fresh or dehydrating them, these are a great pick.
These are decent. I wanted the Red Delicious in this size bag, but wasn't avail. This is a good substitute, pretty sweet with just a little bit of tart, fresh, good crispness. Probably perfect for what most people want from an apple. I try to eat one a day to keep the doctor away. Last night I had one with sweet red wine and tortilla chips. I will prolly do that again tonight. I might have mentioned in my other reviews that I'm a bit eccentric. But sometimes I gotta mix and match. These are good to do that with.
There were 9 apples in this bag. Out of the 9 5 were bad --rotten. I purchased these for my Puppy as a healthy treat, he lives apples! But I wouldn't say for the price paid that it was a good purchase -- bad quality! I had a Walmart person shopping for my groceries.... cannot show a picture, I didn't get one before I "tossed" out the rotten apples. Someone needs to look at these bags of fruits and vegetables better!!!
These apples were rotten, literally. I called CS only to be put on hold and have no one come back to my call. Called back and asked for a supervisor, was told a “supervisor” would call me back. No one called me back. Called a third time and spoke to someone claiming to be a supervisor. She listened to my story about receiving rotten apples. She offered me 10 whole dollars as an apology! Wow, Ten Dollars! She was not very polite, nor did she apologize. I was amazed that that bag of apples went through so many pairs of hands before it was delivered to me and NO ONE NOTICED they were rotten. I find that hard to believe.
Placed a Walmarts plus order, received these apples , as you can see these are rotten, I ended up throwing the rest of the apples away that was in bag. Highly disappointed.
Walmart produce sits and rots after arriving half rotten. Rather than throw this stuff out they just move it around and sell it anyways so when you place a pickup and delivery order and cannot select produce for yourself you’re stuck with rotten smelly produce all for a profit.
Delivered apples at bottom of bag with multiple heavier items on top. They were sitting on concrete. Maybe 3 good apples out of entire bag. ***photo shows one of the 3 good apples. The rest were thrown away before making the review and realizing that I could upload pictures but hopefully there won’t be a next time ***
I was very disappointed that this bag of apples was ever put on the shelf to sell. I was also very disappointed that someone added them to my basket for pick up. You could tell many of them had several cuts from a box cutter.
