Granny Smith apples are great in cooking, salads, and oatmeal. They have a tartness that adds a lot to your dishes. Also, Walmart's price on Granny smiths beats the other grocery stores' price. And the apples always taste fresh and are in good condition.
My favorite apples 🍏. Firm, crisp, and juicy. For me it’s a great snack at night when I’m watching TV. I peel it, cut it up, put salt on it and then sit down to watch a good movie and totally enjoy this delicious snack. I highly encourage you to try them.
They are nice big apples and they last month's in the fridge. I only eat them once in awhile so glad they last so long. They taste good and no bruises.
I love the crispness and the tartness of green apples and Granny Smith are the best. Best for snacking, salads, cakes, crisps, smoothies, making apple sauce and pies, also with pork chops. I'm telling you just try green apples instead of red and you will fall in love too. They are the right size too, not to small.
I love the crisp fresh gently tart/slightly sweet granny smith apples. They are great raw: sliced for a snack or finely diced for a chicken salad; or cooked with pastry for apple dumplings or apple pie, or even fried apples. Yum. They are large beautiful apples picked in their season. :D
This is what I received from the apples that I ordered.. I realize that the shoppers are in a hurry but come on check the produce better as I wouldn’t have bought this apple if I had been able to be in the store!!
my go to apples! usually but I'm desperate so they don't go bad but was having bad luck since they pick them for me the store doesn't do well at all so thought q bag may be better luck but much worse half of them were bruised and already turning brown and well I won't buy again unless I see em in person. kinda bummed but they sure are good when they are nice and ripe!
If I could give a 0 stars I would have. But I think it was actually the drivers fault for picking bad apples! The apples were mushy, brown %26 rotten... They were so bad with fruit flies too, I believe the driver didn't even bother to look at what he was picking %26 putting into the bag!! Which is unfortunate because normally the granny smiths green apples are really good %26 in good condition.... Absolutely the opposite with these.
I pay to get my groceries delivered so I don’t have to go inside and do it myself bt why come every time I order green apples they are always rotten? I just ordered 3 with this last order and all 3 of them are rotten! Had to throw them away! I really wish the shopper would consider shopping as though they are buying for themselves instead of just grabbing!
Super GREEN. Like they are not ripe enough to eat and they’re still sitting on my counter even though I tried to eat one of the apples. So disappointed. I mean, what are the produce people doing in the fields? Are they picking everything too soon? All I know is the Apple that I tried to eat was terrible terrible and it gave me a stomach ache.
