I never leave reviews, but holy moly!! These grapefruits are the best I have ever had, I've ordered them probably 12 to 18 times, and 90% of them were like the best juiciest most awesome grapefruit ever. I have no idea how Walmart does it lol. If anyone is reading this, I live in North Texas, so maybe the supply chain is different in other areas, but I would give this 6 stars if I could. Wow.
The grapefruits are very good. I’m disabled and don’t drive, so the in-store shopping for me helps me out SO much! In the past year I’ve received two things that were not up to my standards: blueberries and strawberries. I order once a week and to only have two things that I couldn’t eat is a pretty good record.
I ordered GRAPEFRUIT not large oranges. When I opened my bags and put things away, I thought these are small but at least they weren’t rotten like the last bag of grapefruit I ordered from Walmart. But today we tried them and realize they are not small grapefruit but large oranges! I like oranges, but that’s not what I ordered and I don’t want to pay grapefruit prices for oranges!
I will stop ordering produce from here because several times I’ve received produce that have been over ripped and even moldy now when I try to return some tomatoes that I ordered with this order, I was told I need to take them into the store if I can go into the store, I would not have ordered them to be delivered so I will stop ordering from here.
as always when I get an order delivered to my home it's like the person picking my order gets the fruit that is either ready to inspire or inspired the day before this particular batch had mold on it. doesn't even make sense asking for a refund because they want you to bring it back as I don't drive it's impossible so it's just a loss for me every single time
Sorry to say that the quality of your produce leaves a lot to be desired. The grapefruits look like they were use for batting practice, the avocados were all black and squashed, all of them. What a waste of money. Very disappointing lately. Your prices went up, but the quality of your products went down, way down. Pictures not available, didn't know you were going to ask for a review. Will definitely send next time
I had a deliver order, and ordered 2 Grapefruits that were bad on arrival. I tried to get a refund and was told I needed to bring back to the store. The refund would have been $2.74 and the gas used $6.00. so how fair was that to me not to get the refund for the bad grapefruit delivered? Most times the grapefruit are not bad, but this time they was. Food costs too much to do this to a buyer and this was after the snap freeze ;-( I guess that means we simply need to eat box things. The reps can't refund us. They are limited. So how does this save us money ?
Wow I am sooo disappointed. I got a few last week and they were pretty good. A lot of peel but good. Had some at HEB that were 50% more. Those were incredible. However I now know what I am paying for. These look like naval oranges. Seriously the size of a medium to medium large orange. At 1$ per piece that’s ridiculous. You should charge by the pound. I bet the bag of them were just as good. The reason I chose to pay 1$ each was because I need them for health reasons (liver) and I assumed they would be a good size. Pfffft. Boo. 6$ for equivalent to 3 regular sized grapefruits. Off my delivery list. Much more Walmart and you’re about to lose me to heb where I can request to only have half portion of grapes. Only pick grapefruits that weigh at least 1 lb etc.
The two grapefruit I received were dry and not worth eating. They went into the garbage. Walmart typically has good grapefruit but not this time! I ordered online and picked up my order at the store. This is not the first time I have been unhappy with fruits and/or vegetables. I hope the shoppers get better at picking out produce for their online orders. This, unfortunately has not been the case for me.
I had to throw out all 8 bulk grapefruits that I had ordered!!! They were all soft. I cut into them to see if they were edible…they were all bad!!! What a waste of money!!!! Plus when I went into the store to try and find some good ones, there was a couple in the bin that had white and green mold on the outside of the grapefruits!!!!
