PLEASE 🙏 please instruct your shoppers that when buying bell peppers pr Roma tomatoes or any other vegetable- when we pay for each item and not by weight example bell peppers-PLEASE pick the large and firm 🫑 peppers and tomatoes 🍅 that are available!! Today I bought 2 peppers and one was large and the other was so small!! Why would the shopper not pick 2 large firm peppers or tomatoes? Very disappointed with the shopper’s selection!! This has happened 3 out of 5 times so far.
When you do curbside pick-up, it would be excellent if the shopper chose the best one in size, shape, freshness, texture rather than just pick the first one they could grab onto. They should train curbside shoppers to be mindful as if they were shopping for themselves, and would always choose the best one to put into the cart.
Everything went as planned. I had to return on item. I got an immediate refund, and then a note saying not to bother returning the item. Very handy. HOWEVER... then I got a refund for the whole order. Now I don't know how to pay for the items I received. And I would like to get the unwanted item returned, as well. Since I turned 90 I have had more problems with my computer transactions so I fear I may be starting to age.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “Green Peppers So Good, I Almost Wept” I never thought a simple green pepper could change the course of my culinary life… until I met these. Walmart, what kind of sorcery is this?! The moment I sliced into one, the crisp snap echoed through the kitchen like a trumpet announcing royalty. The color? An emerald dream. The scent? Like a summer garden after the rain. But the taste—oh, the taste! Sweet with a touch of zest, juicy with the perfect crunch, these green peppers didn’t just elevate my fajitas—they transcended them. I found myself standing at the stove, one hand stirring, the other shamelessly munching raw slices straight from the cutting board. My husband asked what I was making, and I told him, “A masterpiece. And the star? Walmart’s green pepper.” These aren’t just vegetables. They’re a revelation. I’ve tasted green peppers from farmers’ markets, specialty grocers, even straight off the vine. But nothing compares to the balanced flavor, the stunning freshness, and the emotional journey of these beauties. Walmart, take a bow. You’ve turned a humble bell pepper into a five-star experience. 🫑✨
This came in one of my delivery orders, so in fairness of me not picking my own green pepper, I gave this 4 stars instead of 3 stars. It was flavorful but it was not a crunchy, crisp green pepper. I had ordered it for a salad but because of the decline in freshness I ended up cooking it and used it to make steak bombs. It was delicious but was disappointed in the freshness of the pepper.
Produce is always a mystery pick. They either pick rotten ones, or the most ugliest of ugliest produce. This includes all fruits and vegetables. I’ve stopped buying Produce because of that. Either the produce isn’t good quality. Or they don’t care and pick the rotten ones or expired.
The bell peppers were already soft and needed to be thrown away. I use your home delivery service and often get expired or close to expired products, especially fruits and vegetables. With the exception of bananas, which arrive green, when purchasing perishable items, I have a 50/50 chance of getting produce that this useable.
Don't expect to get decent veg via delivery. My patience is done. I tried one last time and achieved complete failure. You WILL NOT get a decent pick. Out of my last two orders for bell peppers, I had holes, brown spots, wrinkled skins, and soft spots. I've experienced this across the board whenever I order ANY produce. The worst thing is if I can get to the physical store, I see and choose decent produce without any of these issues.
Person picked pepper either doesn't know how to pick a good produce from a rotting one! Produce quality has gone down recieving produce spoiled or just not for human consumption. Produce Manager needs to walk around area having employees remove produce low quality or spolied. Too many times recieved produce had to throw away as I can't drive anymore and reason I pay yearly delivery fee plus tips. Unacceptable@
I probably will not order peppers or much produce on my delivery orders as I'm not sure a person couldn't have picked the smallest pepper available. I would think the shopper would look for the best possible size and freshness when choosing a customer's produce. I am not typcially one who completes these surveys but this is the feedback I would provide.
