Fresh Green Whole Asparagus Bunch, Fresh Produce

The one I picked out was superb, but the one I got with store pick up was not only dry on end but the tops were slimy. I took photo to customer service for a refund. It would have been a 5 star but pick up was so bad.

These were nice and fresh, and when we cooked them in the grill pan with some butter and salt they tasted amazing. They are perfect for a spring side dish and you can pair it with chicken or pork. I was happy with the freshness and crispness of the vegetables and the packaging was great to keep them fresh longer.

The asparagus I received was brown,wilted, and smelled funny. This was a grocery pickup. I wish if this was the best of the selection, they would have just marked it as out of stock or unavailable. I can’t eat this.

Asparagus bunch is rotten and slimy. This is really disappointing as I needed these for one of my kids’ birthday dinner. They were placed immediately in the fridge immediately upon arrival. Took them out to use for dinner and they are not usable. Please do better. We rely on delivery when one of our children is sick. It’s disappointing when items received are rotten and shoppers don’t grab anything on the list without looking.

I ordered asparagus with my order. This is what I received. Shoppers should be given a class on how to select produce. Unless , they are told to select the worst-shaped produce to get rid of it. Very frustrating as I also received a bag of cuties that were old and dry.

Asparagus was dull and would not snap . I washed and cooked but could not eat. This is the second time asparagus was no good. This is 3rd time I bought from Walmart, the first time was very good. I don’t believe that your employees know when asparagus is too old.

This asparagus looks like they took it out the bottom of the barrel or maybe even the bottom of a trashcan. I don't know if people don't know what asparagus is supposed to look like, but this is horrible. I cannot eat this. I don't understand and I paid for this I want my money back !

This is how my asparagus arrived from Walmart delivery. Completely rotten with the tips rotting off. If I could give it a zero I would! I’m so disappointed Walmart. Do better!

Twice now I placed delivery orders that included asparagus bundles, and both times I was very sad. Have your Shoppers been trained to choose quality produce? With Asparagus, they should know the parts that matters are the tips. Both times when I got them the tips were already slimy. I appreciate that Walmart handled it well and gave me a refund but that doesn't change the fact that I was really craving Asparagus! 😉

I am hoping this time the asparagus is much better. In my last order, it was absolutely horrible. I had to throw it out!!! I don't think the person doing the shopping knew how to pick asparagus!!! it was dried up shriveled and just not edible. As I said, I'm hoping today the asparagus I receive will be much better.🤞
