Fresh Greens Trio, 16 oz

Oh muh gawd, I cooked up a small “mess” of these and they turned out beyond my expectations for delicious food! They were clean and fresh—I rinsed again —didn't shake—and put in a tall round glass baking dish. Added about 2tBs water, and a medley of about 9 seasonings, spices, and splashes including some uncured pork (my secret formula). I even added a tBs of raisins. Covered tightly and baked about 75 mins at 375 stirring 3 times. They were tender, succulent, and not a hint of bitterness. Excellent “pot liquor” to dab at with my fresh homemade cornbread. I froze half the bag. Dark leafy greens, a true “tonic” food and excellent “roughage” as we called it in the “olden days” 😆

I love having a bag of fresh greens in my freezer. When I want to make the 6 million view Chick Pea Stew from Alison Romans internet blog I'll have all ingredients on hand. No last minute running to the store. it's a pantry favorite. Give it a try, high protein at a good price and delish.

Yes. Yes. Yes. These greens check all the boxes. Great taste and they even printed a recipe on the bag. I prepare them without meat but having the recipe is good for green cooking newbies or experienced cooks. This will be an ongoing purchase for me.

I like the mix of greens and prefer this mixture over straight collards, or straight turnip greens. They seem to balance out the bitterness of the mustard greens. The only problem is hard to get, availability is not good. Most times when I try to order, which is often, they are "out of stock"

The bag is full of brown greens and stems! Dealing with a health issue, I decided to try a bag instead of cleaning fresh collards, mustard and turnip greens. It is unusable as I will have to throw out more than necessary. I will never purchase this item again.

This combo had an unusually bitter taste. If you are the mood cooked greens: May I suggest fresh Collard greens. Rinse them off thoroughly in the bath tub Mix in a packet of Knorr's vegetable soup. A handful of miniature fresh baby pearl onions. Add a little finely diced Jalapeno pepper in with the broth. Cook down until the leaves of tender and soft. Southern people call the Collard juice, 'Pot Liqueur'. Serve pipping hot in a suitable sized eating bowl. mmm

The food is good, but Delivery, even with Walmart Plus, is the Worst. You have perishable food melting down while drivers insist on a Code number. That's fine if we Have it. OTOH, when we place the order, we are NOT GIVEN the magic number. Nope, only when groceries ordered by a Different family member who's not present are Delivered and Melting do we frantically chase the number. Another example of Tyranny By the Screens, alive and well at Walmart, who is anything But Local and consumer friendly.

i was pretty disappointed to pull this out of the bag, intending to use it in a smoothie right away but it was not only past the "best by" date but smelled when i opened it. and not in a good way. i think it's a great product but not after it's turned.

I needed a mixture of greens. The bag days turnip, collard, and mustard. The contents are more stems than should be and no mustard greens at all and very little turnip greens. It should be illegal to actually put all three on the bag front and the ingredients list

I did not get what I asked for they gave me collards. I did not want collards that's why I said don't substitute so when you don't substitute, you don't put it in there. That's my conclusion if I can't have what I want I would prefer not to get that an item.
