Fresh Greens Trio, 16 oz

16 ounces is a lot of greens but they shrink down quickly,and I like that it's a blend of several types so one flavor does not overpower the other. Perfect for adding to soups and stews. I make a recipe using carrot,onion and celery as a base, then adding chopped mushrooms and the greens mix. When they have cooked down, add 4 cups of water and 2 cups of washed quinoa or rice, bring to a simmer and cook covered for 15-20 minutes until done. Stir to mix and serve, it's an easy one dish meal and very filling

Yes. Yes. Yes. These greens check all the boxes. Great taste and they even printed a recipe on the bag. I prepare them without meat but having the recipe is good for green cooking newbies or experienced cooks. This will be an ongoing purchase for me.

What a lovely mix of greens. Here in the south, we eat greens regularly. But this mix of greens adds a little something extra. Easy to prepare. Use right out of the bag. No washing or chopping required. We enjoy them with some pepper sauce or seasoned vinegar.

I like the mix of greens and prefer this mixture over straight collards, or straight turnip greens. They seem to balance out the bitterness of the mustard greens. The only problem is hard to get, availability is not good. Most times when I try to order, which is often, they are "out of stock"

These greens have been triple washed and are so clean there's like no sand or anything in them when I get them. I still wash them once anyhow but may not be necessary. The greens are really good also. Wife says they're fine - she cooks them in olive oil - I always boil them myself.

The Fresh Green Trio is the best nutritional mixture of greens with the highest amount of vitamins than any other salads you buy . Dark greens are not always a favorite for taste but is is the healthiest . Romaine , Iceberg and others might be more flavorful to some but no vitamins there, Mix it up the the collard, mustard, and turnip greens mix and you get real nutrition.. It is definitely a MAHA difference

I love this mix in theory, but inevitably, there are far too many tough, dried out, thick stems (totally inedible) and the uneven decay of different greens seems to make much of this large bag unusable for human consumption. If the pieces were just a touch more carefully selected to include only edible parts, i would rave about it and buy it again always. For now, i don't purchase it anymore.

i was pretty disappointed to pull this out of the bag, intending to use it in a smoothie right away but it was not only past the "best by" date but smelled when i opened it. and not in a good way. i think it's a great product but not after it's turned.

This combo had an unusually bitter taste. If you are the mood cooked greens: May I suggest fresh Collard greens. Rinse them off thoroughly in the bath tub Mix in a packet of Knorr's vegetable soup. A handful of miniature fresh baby pearl onions. Add a little finely diced Jalapeno pepper in with the broth. Cook down until the leaves of tender and soft. Southern people call the Collard juice, 'Pot Liqueur'. Serve pipping hot in a suitable sized eating bowl. mmm

I did not get what I asked for they gave me collards. I did not want collards that's why I said don't substitute so when you don't substitute, you don't put it in there. That's my conclusion if I can't have what I want I would prefer not to get that an item.
