I actually bought these to make chili and of course, the idiot that shopped for me brought me an onion instead of a whole garlic garlic, so I had to google if I could freeze these, so they are actually in my freezer until I can order the whole garlic to make chili.. but remember used gloves and don't touch your eyes and don't go to the bathroom if you don't use gloves lol cause you don't want anything to burn.. jalapeños are hot and they're really really good for chili. I usually only need one whole one when I make a crockpot full of chili…. But right now they will sit in my freezer until I do my next Walmart Delivery and then I will pull one out and keep the other ones frozen, which they will stay good 4 to 6 weeks in the freezer… I do wish that they would sell them separately where you could only buy one at a time or two instead of the bag.. because I usually end up wasting a few but for $1.00 you really can't go wrong..
Don't really buy vegetables in the packages much.. But this is a great value..The jalapenos are decent size and have good flavor I think you get about 6-7 per package..
Always fresh GV produce! Price is about $1-2 for a whole bag. Underrated produce section at Walmart. All we shop as a family. Save money and time. Delicious, fresh jalapeños.
my partner loves these. great on anything. hamburgers... pizza .. sandwiches. if ur into spicy food.
I was impressed with the freshness and how many I received for $1. My Thanksgiving tacos were extra good because of these peppers. Yay!
Walmarts produce section has become amazing. Fresh and cheap.
These peppers are a great size, skin clear and unblemished and shockingly enough actually have some spice to them. Made them stuffed with meat and rice and they aren't the typical bland bell pepper masquerading as a jalapeno. I was pleasantly surprised and hope this quality keeps up.
I don't understand.. do the employees not look the produce over before packing an order? They were super moldy
These are usually very fresh. This bag was all soft and wrinkled,
2/6 of them were moldy and leaked everywhere.
