As usual I was really, I was really happy with my jalapeño peppers . I just got a suggestion can you sell them by number instead of weight. It would be great and easier to get what I wanted that would great for me because I didn’t get what I needed Example 5 for $.5.00 Mario Comte
I hate when people post about the delivery or pick up in the review but here I am. The peppers have been good every time so far BUT when I order .5lbs, it means half a pound, which is 8 ounces not 5 ounces...so I remove 1 star for people not understanding basic math. Maybe we should switch to metric like the rest of the world, lol. Now I don't have enough jalapenos for my salsa, I have to order more and think of more stuff to add to my delivery to make the order $35 or more so I don't have to pay a fee. Thanks (sarcasm).
I ordered 3 pounds because I knew I was being lied to about jalapeño being a available because I called so much about receiving 2-4 peppers .. I’m not unhappy about the amount of peppers I received, just obviously being lied to. Was told would not be caring cause not in season, so I decided to up my order, it worked.
It seems most times when I order this item they always look like they are getting close to the expiration date. I don't get to pick the items I get due to the fact that I have them delivered, so I don't really know if their old at the store or the picker just keeps picking terrible quality peppers every time. I usually buy from 2 to 3 pounds at a time so I have to believe it's the store having poor quality peppers.
im so irritated with otdering jalapenos online. i order one .25 pound (should be 4 or 5) and i get 1 pepper. i have also tried the reverse and ordered 5 jalapenos (since the previous order fulfilled with 1 per quarter pound), and i got 5 pounds of jalapenos. hello pickeled peppers....made lovely gifts. so...i now need to go to brookshires and get a quarter pound of jalapenos.
ordered half a lb of Jalapenos. got .1 lbs. not anywhere close to what i requested. whoever shopped my order needs to learn weights and what comes close to the requested. now i have to go to the store again to fix your mistake. 2 Jalapenos isn't even close to what was needed.
Description says 3 to 5 peppers per quarter pound I got five peppers which are huge but not the pound i ordered and when you’re making stuffed jalapeños, the count is important. I planned on making it for a picnic not for two people.
Every time I get jalapenos in a pick up order. they do not weigh out what I order. they put 2 small jalapenos in the bag which weighs about a quarter of a pound. I always order at least a pound. they need to learn how to actually weigh the produce and give me what I ordered.
I ordered 0.25 lb, which was supposed to be 3-5 peppers, but I only received one small pepper. I placed the grocery order online because I didn't have the time to shop myself and needed to have dinner ready for my family on time. This was a significant inconvenience as I had to interrupt my cooking and go to another store to buy more peppers.
the product is fine but when you ask for .50 of a pound and the shopper literally gives you 1, and i mean 1 jalapeño, like seriously!! how the heck do i make salsa with 1 jalapeño. i place delivery orders so i can stay home with my disabled son but i guys i will be going personally for jalapeños!!🤬
