sour sweet juicy and good. the peels taste good too. there is one tough spot when the stem was attached. besides that easy to chew. no break outs for me. easy to slice thin and eat. I leave the peel on and love eating that part too. The white center is mild and soft. The green is softer and juicy sour sweet.
Hated to have to buy so many kiwis at one time, but it was the only way they were available. However, they tasted great and lasted quite a while. Definitely recommend these – great flavor and the perfect level of ripeness b
Orange Juice everyday is expensive, nowadays. And often too sour to enjoy. So I eat one of these instead. Some are sweeter than others. I really like them. They keep well in the fridge. Excellent price!
I've started getting the 2lb container of kiwis because for whatever reason they tend to be riper than the ones in the 1lb container. That may just be because they're sitting there longer and not purchased as much. I get them in my grocery delivery and I've not had any issues with them being damaged or spoiled.
The Kwi are awesome once they are ripe. Mine came unripe so I thought this would be a good time to teach you how to ripen your kwi. The Kwi are very delicious and nutrious. I was in my late 20s before I ever ate one. A pleasant elderly man described what it taste like, I didn't care for the looks at first but was pleasantly surprised. So how to ripen a Kwik. You use several apples and this container of Kwik and put in your Walmart paper bag and fold the edges down and lay on it's folded edge. Wait a few days to ripen and they are delicious. The gases released from the apple peel nothing bad and still left in the peel will ripen the Kwik. You can also use Bananas. There are a few other things you could use instead, but most of us buy Apples and Bananas for either longer storage or Bananas even brown for Banana Bread. So enjoy the Kwi. There are plenty in the container and they are never rotten or moldy. Just unripe many times. Enjoy your Kwik. I am.
The product is not ripe The kiwi is smaller than the last purchase at Walmart. Apparently, I originally ordered 2 pounds and then I saw the 1 pound and I ordered the 1 pound and I guess the 2 pound never got taken off so now I have 3 pounds of kiwi that's not ripe.
Really disapointed they changed the package and now i get 6 kiwis i used to love this box first they sent me some ugly dry mandarines and apples that tasted like they were bad already and now kiwis i think im gonna start getting my fruit somewhere else
Actually the worst kiwis I have gotten. One was squishy with juice coming out one side and it smelt fermented and rotten. The other ones were wrinkly and old and you could smell how bad they were before you even open the package and the Walmart worker still picked it out and put it in my delivery order. So dumb.
Twice the amount of money from my original order this was a substitute. I am on a fixed income. I will keep it but will never buy groceries delivered again. I'm canceling my membership. I think it should be same price as my original order if you cannot update your advertisement. To me it's just like price gouging or false advertisement.
Really disappointed with these kiwis. Even from the outside they looked shriveled and soft, and when I touched them, almost all were way too mushy to eat. Only one was firm enough to be edible. I was really looking forward to these, so this was a big letdown.
