Imagine popping a tiny, sun-kissed orb of pure sunshine into your mouth! This adorable little orange bursts with a zesty, sweet-tangy party that dances on your taste buds. It’s like a sip of bright, juicy citrus with a playful hint of honeyed sweetness, leaving a refreshing zing that makes you smile. Think of it as a mini tropical vacation in every bite—vibrant, lively, and just a touch sassy! Maybe I am lucky as I have never been disappointed!
Moldy, Inconsistent product. 1. Food Safety concerns. When these are fresh and in winter they are actually quite good. However, on multiple occasions now I have recieved these with at least 1-3 covered in mold and/ or rotten consistent with other reviewers. 2. Inconsistent. They replace these with different varieties. The version in winter is good. They recently changed over to some hybrid version with the overpowering smell of grapefruit. 1-2 is ok but I couldnt finish the bag. I believe you should have consitent product labelling and not shove whatever crappy strain you have on hand, or at least caveat that the strain is seasonal.
Somehow, when I get the bag, I can always see quite a few that are bad. Usually, you can have at least half a bag that is good because you don’t get to see all the ones inside that are bad. Some are even dried out to where they don’t have much juice in them. Let’s just say they’re not fresh.
This 5%23 bag of mandarins was Very Bad quality. One was an obviously brown and totally molded. About a half a dozen others had some too. This was picked for me, shouldn’t have been on the shelf.
"Fresh" Mandarin Oranges ??? I got a bag of these with my grocery pickup order, so I didn't go into the store and pick them out, and when I got home, I found that they all have brown spots on them, and one was rotten. I tried to eat one of the better looking ones, and it was dried out and flavorless. I think these are last years citrus , that has been stored in refrigeration in some warehouse somewhere. This is not the first time that I've gotten bad produce from Walmart, and I'm convinced that they deliberately try to pass off their old produce to people that are ordering online for grocery pickup , and then hope that you don't say anything because you don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it to the store, which is what has been the case with me many times, up until now. I'm tired of being ripped off. Food is TOO expensive, and almost $8 for a bag of old rotten oranges is completely unacceptable.
The mandarins were very small, which gave them a taste of being not sweet at all. Usually small ones are not as sweet as the big ones and it was very firm so I don’t know that they had even stayed you know during their growth enough and no, I did not like them. I thought I’d canceled, but I guess I didn’t. The color of the mandarins was the only positive thing.
I haven’t a clue why I continue to buy vegetables or fruits at Walmart anymore because they are always bad. If I were to actually by from now on, it would only be in person so I can check the quality myself. Because when I have it delivered, it’s always bad. ALWAYS
Mandarins were well beyond their acceptable quality level. They're color is faded and old looking. If any remain, they should be removed from the shelves. The whole bag needs to be thrown away.
I didn’t catch it because I opened the bag three days later. They were in the fridge. There were about seven moldy tangerines. I can’t complain because the delivery driver picked out this bag. But the store should keep a better eye on their
Walmart produce quality is the most inconsistant of any grocery store. Thes were Halos which if you buy them anywhere they are really good. These, however, are horrible. I ended up throwing them away. you are better off getting two of the smaller off brand bags since they are pretty good. Dont buy Halo at walmart. Or any produce if you can avoid it.
