Instead of all those health and diet controllable pricey drinks claiming to relieve hunger pains and meal replacements, snacking on various raw vegetables is best. One can eat more quantity for alot less. I always have mini multi colored crisp, fresh bags of bellpeppers, as well as skin edible cucumbers, sugar snap peas, crisp young celery stalks to satsify in between meal hunger cravings. Even dipping these peppers in a light dip of homemade dipping sauce or low fat cheese spread is more affordable and fresh. Too many so-called health and weight controlling drinks are subjected to lab processing formulas.
These peppers have consistently been excellent in terms of freshness. They are crisp and sweet. I use them in salads mostly, but occasionally will use them in stir fry dishes or when a recipe calls for a bell pepper and I don’t have bell peppers available.
I have my groceries delivered. My fresh items are very rarely inedible. These colorful little peppers are always crunchy and tasty addition to my cooked recipes, sandwiches, and salads. I order the mini peppers because I live alone and usually make small meals and don't like to half use larger peppers since they don't store very well once cut into. These mini peppers also keep well in the fridge for a couple of weeks if stored as directed. They are definitely worth the price.
These peppers are not hot they're sweet. This item is my new go-to for everything peppers. Three colors enhance every dish they are in, and when it looks like I won't use them up fresh, I clean, half and nest the halves in a baggie, and freeze them for later on. They are almost like fresh when used after freezing. No waste, 3 colors, and just under 3 bucks, worth it everything. I've had several shoppers ask me if they are hot and I say no, as sweet as can be.
I didn't know how these would taste, but I have to admit that they are better than I thought they'd be. I bought them as appetizers (to stuff a cream cheese dip inside), and they worked out perfectly. These are not strong in taste and actually taste sweet, mild, and pleasant enough to snack on out of the bag without adding anything or stuffing them. They are versatile.
I like salads! These little peppers are perfect for making a salad for one person since my husband doesn’t eat them as often as I do. He sometimes does pulls one out of the bag, washes it and eats it as a snack. I prefer using these over large bell peppers for my salads just so I don’t have to store a half or 3/4 of it after it’s cut. I made extra stuffing for bell peppers not long ago and bought these tonight to make some mini snack size stuffed peppers!
Love these little peppers. They're always fresh and crispy. I've never gotten a bad batch and get them fairly often. They have a lot of flavor, especially the red ones. So many ways to use them! Can cook with them, add to omelets, snack on them, make stuffed mini peppers out of them, cut up and put them in salads. Definitely recommend!
You guys at Walmart need to better train your online shoppers to PICK produce items that are up to quailty and best freshness dates. There have been countless times that i have received bad produce its to the point that your shoppers dont care what grab they just pick up whatever and throw it in the bin! This continues to keep being a problem and it is highly frustrating!!!!
Walmart used to have normal small peppers in a package. Tasty and sweet. Now it's something incomprehensible. I made an order for home delivery and received a package of rotten peppers. I had to go to the store to return it. This is marketing. Selling spoiled products so that you return with them for a refund and then go buy even more products. They will never get enough and will sell you poor quality goods.
Home delivery order: Rotten. Peppers are already soft, wilting, decaying. It must be a Walmart policy to attempt to dump expired, damaged, and rotten goods into delivery orders. 3rd week in a row, expired, rotten and damaged goods being delivered. I want fresh food not day old managers specials. in person shoppers can make that decision. Right into the garbage I would love to use Walmart for my weekly food order but I cannot until they improve quality control.
