Love ming! What's not to love? I just feel that it's a little over-prced %26 it doesn't keep well. I use it to make my Tabouleh recipe but if I can't get to it right away, it wilts to point of being useless in 3 days. So, if you buy. plan on using it asap. Still recommend.
I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavorful this package of mint was! The leaves were bright green, fragrant, and lasted much longer in the refrigerator than I expected. (Here is a useful hint: when you get the package home, open the clamshell packaging, place all the mint leaves in a damp paper towel and place them back in the clamshell container! The leaves will stay fresh and last a lot longer!) I use a couple leaves in my drinking water, and it gives it such a clean, refreshing taste without being overpowering. Cut up a leave or two with some scissors or just tear a leave or two apart with your fingers and place it in your water. I use mine in an OWALLA container so the mint water stays cold all day, you can shake up the bottle occasionally to intensify the mint flavor and sip it all day through a straw, so you don't swallow any of the mint! The clamshell packaging also keeps the mint from getting crushed or wilted like some fresh herbs do. A little goes a long way, so even the 0.5 oz package lasted me quite a while. It's become a regular purchase for me because it makes plain water feel much more refreshing and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone who likes naturally flavored water, tea, or fresh herbs for cooking!
The fresh mint was a great addition to both my pho and homemade drinks. The leaves were vibrant, aromatic, and added a clean, refreshing flavor that really elevated everything. It paired especially well with pho, giving that authentic, bright finish, and it also made my drinks taste crisp and refreshing. The quality was solid—no wilting or discoloration—and it stayed fresh for several days. Overall, a simple ingredient that made a big difference. I’d definitely buy it again.
I was happy that they actually had fresh mint in stock. however when I unpacked my groceries the package of mint was open and the leaves were all over the bottom and some of them were already crushed. but I imagine that's the packaging not the people who took care of it because you would think they package it well enough that it wouldn't fall apart so easily.
Products like this I wrap in paper towel and place in an open plastic bag immediately to preserve them. Change paper every two days
When it comes to pick up %26 delivery orders… I think the issue here with a lot of the Walmart produce (both fruits and vegetables), is that for some reason- the older produce is chosen to be given to those orders, maybe to get rid of the items they would otherwise be having to throw away… but I don’t think this is fair whatsoever. Now about the quality of the fresh mint that I ordered: the smaller baby sized leaves were OK…But the majority if not all of the biggest ones, were all wilting and darkened and some of them even turning brown and nasty / rotten at the stems.
I think that Walmart employees should consider when choosing products for the customer that the quality is not good, they simply do not care about giving them a product that is going to be damaged and it really is not fair because it is not the first time that it has happened to me and it is always when the order is picked up by Walmart employees and I know this because that is when they put the sticker showing when they chose the products
In an order filled for curb side pick up I received a clamshell of mint on 6/8/25 that had been packed on 5/8/25 and the leaves were already turning dark and shriveling
The Mint leaves were bad. You couldn't see it from the top. Underneath they were black and not useable. I know they don't last long and it's why I usually pick them out in store. The lemons had some dark areas inside. That's why only 4 stars. All other items were top notch and fresh.
Utilized the curbside convenience and ordered mint leaves. I received the poorest quality of them all! You can tell that it was no thought placed into picking these
