Best Navel oranges Iv ever had!

Billie March 5, 2026

I’v always been skeptical about buying fresh fruit and vegetables from Walmart. I’v been doing all my grocery shopping from Walmart for the last 2 years. It’s the cheapest and I’m a member so delivery is free. I started buying my fruits and vegetables about 6 months ago. I can’t believe how fresh everything is. I haven’t gotten anything I couldn’t eat. Actually it’s just the opposite. I bought a 4 pound bag of Navel oranges. Iv never seen oranges so big before. The oranges were juicy, sweet, and easy to peel. I just put in another order for two more bags. My whole family loves them. It’s winter and all the fruits or vegetables I have bought are amazing. I don’t know what Walmart has done, but they have definitely stepped up in the produce department. Thank you Walmart!

The naval oranges 🍊 was the driest I have ever bit into in my entire life! Don’t you have quality control there? I was so disappointed ☹️ that Walmart does not make sure that your produce doesn’t have quality control regarding freshness over fruit that is old and stale to customers. 🤔

Rotten orange

annette April 7, 2026

I ordered orange the picture had about 8 I only got 5 upon opening the bag 4 oranges was for but one was rotten I would like my orange replaced. Food is expensive for my husband and myself. Every time I order from you store there is always a problem with my order. Usually I let it go but this time I am complaining and as long as I pay my membership and fees I am going to demand better quality.

Poor quality look too them

Jewels February 18, 2026

Too many times to keep. I have ordered oranges from Walmart, and every single time it’s been terrible. Now I won’t buy them any more, this was the last straw. 2 weeks prior to me purchasing these, I bought a bag at another grocery store in my area, and they were so good, we ate them very quickly. So I decided to try Walmart once again and I should have listened to myself after I bought the last bag there a month before. I told myself then I wouldn’t buy them again from Walmart. I thought maybe they will be good this time. WRONG! They were old, dry to the point of being almost yellow in color on the inside, and just tasting and looking horrible. Why would a shopper even pick out this bag when you could see some of them right through the netted bag. I am disabled so I order my groceries, then get the same day delivery. (That’s another story). But if I were a shopper, I would try to pick out the better looking items then the worse looking ones. One orange had a big hole in it, looked like a big thumb poked a hole in it where it was possibly bruised. But anyway, I am done thinking maybe this time they will be good, but they are not ever “good”.

At $1 per orange I didnt expect 2 bad oranges out of eight. One was squished and cut like it had been damaged during shipping or stocking. I think that should have been discovered during placement for sale. The other expensive orange had black mold on the navel and the juice was thick like snot.

Online shopper beware. We did our online shopping that we frequently do but haven't done so for month or so. And we never had an issue when we shop for fruits... until now. We ordered the 4 pound bag of navel oranges and our shopper did a very poor job checking the oranges before purchase. It seems he just grab the first bag he saw and placed it the shopping cart and moved on. If he would have taken a moment to check, inspect and smell the oranges, he would have realized that they were on their way out and becoming rotten. I guess some re-training is needed for some people when it comes selecting fruits and vegetables. Included are some of the photos of some of the oranges. You'll see in one the dent left in one of them from a gentle squeeze.

Mushy and gross

julie February 7, 2026

I would have left zero stars, but you have to give at least 1 star. I'm not one to do reviews a lot, but this one wasn't getting a pass... it's not the first time I have been delivered rotten produce. I have walmart and had my groceries delivered. The plastic bag of oranges was delivered in a paper bag. When I pulled it out of the paper bag it was literally dripping all over myself and my kitchen floor. They had a sour smell and the bottom ones were so mushy and nasty they were falling apart. How the person who shopped for my groceries didn't notice is unfathomable to me. I guess that explains why they were in a paper sack. Freshness is not always guaranteed in my experience. This bag of oranges belonged in the trash, not sold in a delivery order.

Rotten

Normally, these oranges are delicious and fresh but this bag I got had rotten oranges in it. There's mold on several, they're squishy and brown spots on 4 out of 7.

Moldy oranges

Grandpa April 10, 2026

Mold was clearly seen through the bag. Very disappointed in the quality and lack of your employees not seeing the mold. One orange has a lot of mold that is clearly within view.

Rotten Fruit

Rebecca March 23, 2026

Just don’t buy “fresh” fruit from Walmart if you’re having someone else pick it out. They will give you the worst fruit possible. I’m not sure how something so disgusting was chosen by an actual human.
