If someone is shopping your delivery for you and you have a big order or it’s under an hour for your delivery. You might want to get your fruits and vegetables yourself because it’s starting to look like they don’t have enough time to inspect the food that they’re going to do shop for you. I’m more than certain that this is an issue with Walmart not doing inspections of their food and not the vendors mistakes happen yes but this is not the first time that I have received moldy food. Also, the shoppers not really paying close attention to the items and shopping.
I ordered a bag of peaches which were substituted for organic peachesz which is fine, but one was rotten. Thats why I don't like to order fruits already bagged.
Central Square, NY Walmart needs quality control. Whole bag full of mold. This happens almost every time I order and I’m tired of just tossing food. Such a waste of money every time. The times I’ve gotten these peaches and they weren’t rotten, they were delicious.
The stench upon opening the bag containing this bag of peaches swimming in a pool of rotten liquid cannot be captured in a photo, nor forgotten. These were slimy, globs that turned into liquid if you touched them. The mold was visible on those that hadn't already turned to dumpster soup. HOW did any right-minded human decide it was acceptable to deliver this to anyone to consume? I would not have even wanted this stench in my vehicle nor would be cleaning the rotting stench be worth the twisted humor if the bag would have leaked or spilled. Was this from a Walmart dumpster?! There were 2 ears of corn also in the bag, which I decided to salvage, with great hesitation of course! I've received moldy produce in the past but THIS is disturbing. I double bagged it, set it outside and closed the windows from it, antisipating being told be have to bring it to the store and "prove myself" but Walmart just refunded the price. I wish I could trust ordering safe produce for delivery. I cannot recommend doing so. Was it the store? Was it the driver? A combination?
I honestly do not see how peaches that are hard as a rock can have mold on every single one! This isn't your normal kind of mold tho. It was like these peaches had sores on them! Seriously like open wounds. I am completely grossed out beyond belief right now. I don't think I'll be purchasing any organic fruit from Walmart anymore.
Once again, got a bag delivered with mold visibly covering all of the peaches. I wouldn’t even complain if Walmart would allow a refund, but when I try to process through the app, it says I have to call. Ridiculous. These were recalled I think last year (2023 or 2022) and apparently the quality had not improved and Walmart will not stand behind them (or even have folks pull moldy ones off the shelf OR train shoppers to take even a cursory look at the produce before bagging it).
6 out of 7 peaches was rotten. Picked them up on Saturday afternoon around 4:30 , put them in the fridge as we had company. Took them out today, cut the seal and 6 out of 7 peaches in the bag was rotten. The return box was gone. The one peach not rotten was delicious.
Had 2 bags delivered from the 10th St. Wal Mart in Greeley. Every single one of them were mushy and moldy! The shopper should have texted me to let me know how horrible they were! Instead they took it upon themselves and let me waste my money on rotten peaches!!
I originally ordered these exact peaches last week and ate the whole bag in a day because they were sooooo good! Today unfortunately I did. It have the same experience. I ordered two bags and one bag had peaches mostly covered with moldy fuzz. So disappointed!
I really loathe ordering fresh produce when I have to rely on someone else to actually make sure it’s fresh. This was not. Very much not. Moldy so much that it was hard not to see.
