Usually most mushy. Seeds will break a tooth. I use only for making raspberry syrup for cheesecake, ice cream . Place berries in saucepan with sugar and some water. Bring to boil and simmer a few minutes. Place in sieve over a bowl. Press to extract juice. Trash pulp. Let cool. Chill if not serving right away.
I utilize Walmart delivery because I don’t have a car at the moment. What really grinds my gears more than anything is when I try to get a refund for something that their people have picked out and they say in order for me to get my money back I have to bring it up there. Well if it was that easy I wouldn’t utilize the delivery service but since that’s always the response I get I’ll just start leaving reviews for the bad quality of the food that’s picked for me and my family by their lazy employees.
Molded and even though I spent $524 on this order you will not issue a refund until I bring the items back. I'm a division director at a medical center and I certainly don't have time to bring molded product back today or tomorrow. I will not keep these items that are rotted in my refrigerator since it is not in the best interest of other items in the refirgerator. If I spend this much money and you will not accept a refund on items that are molded and poor quality I will simply not shop at your store again. There certainly is not the savings anymore so If you want to come to my home later tonight I will be glad to give you the items. I be off work at 10pm.Your implication that I'm not being truthful is an insult to my integrity and intelligence. Kind regards, Joan Hampton RNC,CCRN,MSN
I hardly write reviews but I don’t understand how in the world, whoever picked these raspberries out would think these are good to send to me. If you can’t eat them, please don’t send them to us. We don’t pay monthly for delivery to receive items that we can’t eat. Do better!!!
This is not a one-off mistake. Walmart has picked moldy food and expired products for my orders multiple times, and this most recent experience was the final straw. Receiving spoiled food isn’t just inconvenient—it’s unsafe, careless, and completely unacceptable from a company this large. Quality control is clearly nonexistent. There is no excuse for picking products that are visibly moldy or already expired, especially when customers are trusting Walmart employees to select food meant for consumption. The fact that this keeps happening shows a systemic failure, not bad luck. At this point, Walmart grocery service cannot be trusted for basic food safety. I shouldn’t have to inspect every item like I’m playing a game of “Will This Make Me Sick?” Do better—or stop offering this service altogether.
This is the problem Those mushy, tasteless raspberries are likely past their peak, meaning they were either picked too early, suffered from poor storage before you bought them, or have begun autolysis (self-digestion). Raspberries do not ripen after being picked; they only get darker and softer.
Well, I never got to eat these. The top part of them were moldy very much and I was turned off so the next day I went to eat the next part of them and they were moldy so I then not having any, and I never got to eat any of them so I was very disappointed.
My last few orders have been very poor quality. I’ve had to trash them. Too many molded berries (both strawberries and raspberries) have come like this. Whoever is picking produce for customers doesn’t care about promoting fresh produce from Walmart. Only to get rid of the rotten ones, One order at a time.
I buy this item on a regular basis. They are usually quite good with maybe a few bad ones. This time they are mushy and rotting! There is some mold on some of them and most of them are not edible. Obviously the were not even looked at when put in my cart.
Mold,Mold,Mold, I cant get to the store very often due to my disability so I have to rely on delivery to get the things that i need. The produce isn’t good quality anymore.. I have tried so many times hoping that it would be better but it never is.Don’t buy
