I buy a bunch of green onions every week. I usually get the regular scallions. there's usually six for around a dollar. usually the size of a pencil. today I had to have substituted the organic scallions that are about $2. these fresh scallions were not only huge.. like the size of a Sharpie marker but there was twice as many in the package. maybe a dozen. a far superior product at least twice as much in volume. a value 5x of the regular bunch. I will never try to save the extra dollar and will always buy the organic bunch going forward. give it a try!
The Marketside Organic Fresh Green Onions are crisp, vibrant, and full of mild onion flavor. They work perfectly for garnishes, salads, stir-fries, or adding a fresh touch to cooked dishes. The bunch stays fresh when stored properly in the refrigerator, making them convenient for multiple uses. Overall, these green onions are a fresh, versatile, and flavorful vegetable ideal for everyday cooking.
Best green onions I’ve ever bought. I especially love that they come in a sealed package, and they are not handled with bare hands of many. Quality was great and I’ve never seen them packed like these were at any other store ever. These are a win for me.
Always comes fresh. I take the stems and put them in a small glass with some water just to cover about half of the stems and grow them in my kitchen. I dump the water every couple of days and refill. They grow really fast. I wouldn't use fluorinated water. We have a well.
I only bought these because I was buying potatoes. But I had to go back to the store and take them back physically after they delivered them to me because they were not fresh. They were green and lousy for being advertised fresh organic. I don’t believe that you’re the potatoes that is, but that’s the only reason I bought the green onions.
The last couple of times I’ve had these delivered, more than half the bunch was wilted. It’s really disappointing to pay for organic produce only to have most of it arrive looking sad and limp. When they are fresh, they’re great, but the consistency just hasn’t been there lately. I’m going to have to start looking for an alternative if the quality doesn't improve.
I ordered 2 packs of green onions for grocery pickup and when I got home I discovered they were both rotten, wet, and slimy. Who would pick this out for a customer?? I won't order produce for pick up again, I live an hour and a half away and this kind of thing happens way too often. Very frustrating.
The item was not delivered to my preferred address, but to a friend’s address that I sent something to two weeks ago. It wasn’t even taken to her her apartment door, but left on a table in the lobby, even though the door code in the apartment number were provided.
This item was mushy and swimming in its own juice ! It was as though the person who picked it up was blind and never looked at it at all! Produce needs more care in choosing for the customer, most of the produce I receive is below acceptable standards! I keep telling them and they just don't care!
The green onions I received are bad. They are slimy and disintegrate when handled—you can even see it through the bag. Those who select the produce must be more careful, as this is a health hazard.
