I'm not real thrilled about Walmart's produce! The fruit and vegetables that are supposed to be fresh do not last more than a few days, sometimes not even a week even though they are refrigerated (if they are supposed to be). I've purchased zucchini several times and unless I use it within 3-4 days, it gets mushy, and oftentimes it gets moldy. I'm hoping Walmart can improve on this! (especially when I pay more for organic!!!)
The shopper picked the smallest worst produce of everything. Very poor service. We do actually pay for this service beyond tipping. Why can’t you train your people to do quality work.
AS A FIRST TIME BUYER ONLINE, MY ORDER WAS 95% CORRECT. ONE ITEM WAS DELIVERED WRONG AND I GOT SPOILED CUCUMBERS INSTEAD. I WILL RETURN THE ITEM BACK TO THE STORE. PERSONALLY, I WOULD RATHER CHOOSE MY FRESH FRUITS AND VEGGIES ON MY OWN AND WOULD ONLY ORDER PACKAGED/ CANNED ITEMS ONLINE.
I placed an order and had it delivered, and the order was moldy, zucchini, garlic cloves that were so dried out I couldn’t use them. I don’t know what’s going on with Walmart, but this service is just not even worth it anymore. Their produce is bad every time. They pick the worst produce and they pick the worst meats. Definitely not worth it anymore.!
BEWARE! This price is only for 6 oz of zucchini!! Zoom in and read the label. I was sorely dissappointed at how tiny these zucchini were. I had to go to Safeway to buy the rest of the zucchini I needed for dinner tonight and found their price was only $2.98 per POUND instead of for only 6 ounces! Furthermore, Walmart substitued LakeWay Organics in a ziplock bag that easily could have been tampered with--even though NO SUBSTITUTIONS was checked on the order. The LakeWay Organics ziplock bag says the contents are 2 count...thus eliminating any feasable way to complain about the miniature size.
I purchased these on Thursday. When I pulled them out on Sunday they were looked like they were melting and had molded. It takes awhile for something to deteriorate enough to look melted. I didn’t check them when I received (in a wrapped container) so they had to have been bad when I picked them up. It’s also very gross to pick up a container of vegetables and you your thumb just sink into mush.
I ordered organic zucchini, and I instead got a package of organic cucumbers that smell like they’ve been drenched in a toxic chemical of some sort. I will never buy organic vegetables at Walmart again. Their paper products also have the same problem with their Kleenex and toilet paper and paper towel, towels, etc. all smelling horrible like laundry detergent or something. It’s just pathetic.
The home delivery shoppers need to pay more attention when they are gathering fresh vegetables! Every time I take a chance and purchase some for delivery, there is an issue ... this time, holes were punched into the packaging with (fingernails?) and dug into the zucchini. To me, this is careless and nasty.
The smallest package of zucchini I have ever seen. At the prices I pay at Walmart for produce, you would think I am buying gold, but instead, I receive two small vegetables that you must eat right away before it goes bad, and even that may not be fast enough, as Walmart's produce never lasts. Aldi's has way better produce, bigger, better priced, and lasts.
