The peelz citrus were delicious. My daughter tore open the bag as soon as it was delivered early this morning and ate a 2nd one in the car as we headed to school. Little did I know she hadn't finished it and had taken it into the store with us. Thanks for carrying an amazing product. I will be buying more today!
These are so delicious and perfect. I feed these to my family because they love them for the taste. I love the vitamin C they provide. They have been in our families lunch boxes for up years. I eat them after a workout to hydrate and refresh myself. Love them!
If you buy these in winter, most of them are tasty, a little tart and slightly sweet They don't get a 5 because even at their best, a couple of mandarins taste bland. In summer, they're horrible, all slimy underneath the peeling, like someone froze them and thawed them out, with rotted flavor.
Out of a bag of 17 mandarins, 8 were ok/good, 3 were iffy, with soft, spotty areas, and 6 were over ripe with soft, wet spots. The last bag I bought was nearly the same, I just thought it was a fluke, and didn't complain to the store, even though three of those were blackened and had mold.
I dont know if its the grower or its the delivery, but this is the 2nd bag that ive had to throw almost the entire bag away. I literally met the delivery girl at the door on both occasions, brought the fruit in and opened the bag and placed the fryit dish on thr kitchen table. With in TWO DAYS, i was throwing away moldy fruit.
When these were delivered, they had to be trashed due to the majority of the oranges in the bag were rotten or too soft to eat. I was given a refund. It's hard to trust ordering fresh produce most of the time because whoever shops for the items ordered doesn't seem to pay attention to what they grab.
When shopping for others, please shop with the same care and attention you would use for yourself. Choose produce that is fresh and in good condition. The mandarin oranges recently selected were in poor shape, with some showing signs of spoilage. This is not acceptable. Thank you.
shopped for me via spark driver. nearly the entire bag was soft rotten leaky oranges. the entire bag went in the trash after my finger went through a rotten hole in the peel. The ones i touched were loose skinned and leaking juice. What a waste of money. walmart doesn't remove moldy bags, and spark drivers will grab those first.
Very very disappointing. After weeks of not wanting to spend this much on mandarin oranges, I gave in and bought a 3lb bag of the Peelz mandarin oranges. Every single on of them was mushy and disgusting. I didn’t open them til 3 or 4 days after buying because of the holidays. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SHOPPERS FOR HOME DELIVERY PEOPLE?? Believe me if I could get my self to the store and shop myself I would!! I’m so tired of seeing such poor choices by the shoppers. Are they told to pick the crappy stuff for us!? If I could be there I wouldn’t have picked mushy, partially moldy oranges for me nor for anyone else. Usually it is produce but it’s all sorts of products have seal broken, package mashed with crushed contents, etc. These were pricy and since I didn’t immediately inspect them I can’t return them now.
The second day after picking up my online order, my wife noticed a molded orange in the mandarin orange bag. She took the orange out and noticed another bad orange. She stopped at four oranges, then informed me about it when I returned home from work. I told her, one bad orange doesn’t ruin the whole batch. Much to my dismay, I was wrong. When I inspected the remaining oranges, they were all mushy and had a sour smell. I normally don’t order fresh fruits and vegetables online because I don’t trust anyone picking my produce, but I thought I’d try this one time. Never Again! That just confirmed what I believed. No one cares like oneself. I didn’t have pictures of the rotten apples, but I do have pictures of the molded oranges. You would think Walmart is taking Enough of our money to ensure we receive quality food. Despite only losing 6$ of bad produce, I put in over $600/month for groceries for a family of 4. And I have the feeling that Walmart just doesn’t care like they use too. %23satisfactionguarateed
