Fresh Pie Pumpkin, Each (Approx. 1.7 - 2.8 lb)

I put it on my top step. And my dog promptly stole it! He steals stuff out of my garden all the time. Watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, lemons, etc. I let him play with it a couple days. Then opened it up to get the seeds out. Basically that is why I bought it. For the seeds. I actually just bought 2 more. Not gonna let him grab those. Those are gonna get baked after I take out the pepitas.

I bought 3. They are mixed. 2 vibrant better ones are from Butters' Farms in Canada. The one with the broken stem is from USA. Never lift or hold a Pumpkin by it's stem. It'll weaken and snap off. Support it's weight underneath. These will be painted for Samhain and then, I'll make Pumpkin Bread. 🎃

Handy one person/ one pie size, they are firm, fresh and look perfect. I like baking them with cinnamon and maple syrup, or stuffing them .

The pumpkin I received was under 3 lb, is very fresh with a nice chunky stem. Perfect for small spaces, or display numerous smaller pumpkins to create a nice grouping of gourds.

I bought this for my kids school project and I'd have to say I was thrilled with it. It was the cutest perfect shaped little pumpkin and had a good stem on it to hold it with. Definitely a good one for a small child to hold and great for painting on!

The pumpkin to me appears to be bigger than a normal pie pumpkin. I pray that it is not stringy. Being that I am elderly and no vehicle to get to store to pick out myself, will have to try with what is delivered to me. Those hired to do the shopping need to be educated in picking the proper items for the client, as ,many of us are elderly, and depend on the delivery service for our groceries and necessities. Social Security is not that much. Employess need to take care in what they are picking for the client.

overall a nice small pumpkin, my only complaint is they picked one with no stalk and the little stub of a stalk it does have it has gray fuzzy mould in it. so I would not recommend ordering online on the app but I would if you go in the store to pick yourself

its a lovely little pumpkin, perfect size and shape ... but the big company and price stickers leave a ugly residue that doesn't wash off !!

I ordered one little pie pumpkin, and one larger carving pumpkin. But, my pickup order had 2 HUGE heavy pumpkins and no pie pumpkin.! Pie pumpkins are smaller, sweeter, and more flavorful than jack-o'-lantern pumpkins. Jack lantern pumpkins are stringy and dry inside, and are not good for cooking.
