Use your eyes before buying, stop complaing.

John January 28, 2023

I bought one for the first time for a change up to bell peppers and loved the little extra kick, but wasn't too much...just right!! I am making my shopping list and added this again and saw all the bad reviews. Mainly people buying bad ones thinking do these people use their eyes before buying!! I've NEVER bought a bad pepper of ANY kind because I use my eyes and hand to make sure whicever one I buy is good!! If you can take the time to whine, use the time next to get a good one!! Sheesh!!

Nice large crispy fresh peppers for shrimp tacos.

Anona March 28, 2023

I get these fairly often for making street style shrimp tacos at home. It seems sometimes produce can be hit or miss, but I've never had any bad ones, always fresh, non wrinkled, crispy and large. Always in stock and perfect mild taste for tacos and other cuisine.

Very tasty but temperamental pepper

Aranck January 23, 2022

A little more expensive than jalapeños these hot peppers are delicious! Other reviews griping about size makes no sense to me. They do spoil more quickly in the fridge - use before a week since purchase, maybe faster. I have always got very good quality poblanos from Walmart, not spoiled when I get them home. PS - even if they are a little spoiled they are still very edible after cooking.

please have the shopper pick 6 ( try and get at least 4 peppers) of the largest peppers the store has. if only small ones cancel the peppers. Thank you!

quality

Erin November 13, 2021

The poblano peppers i was sent were the world's smallest. Usually, i am given the very large ones. Someone had to have, actively, searched for the absolute smallest ones.

Peppers usually rotten

Lauren May 15, 2023

I order poblanos from Walmart every week. It is hit or miss, usually miss. The peppers are rotten with black spots and sometimes MOLD! Walmart employees need to be trained how to pick fresh fruit although it should be obvious.

Not carefully chosen

Kim November 10, 2021

This pepper was not thoroughly looked at before being chosen by my shopper. It is old, wrinkly and actually moldy in a couple of spots. Disappointing as I'll have to adjust my menu now.

Damaged.

Robin December 9, 2021

Beautiful and edible on one side, the other side not so much, it's damaged. Pretty disappointing to not be able to use the entire pepper, especially since I only needed one.
