These peppers are absolutely fantastic of all peppers! They have a little heat, but the minute you cook them sauté them. They lose a little bit and they leave you with the most wonderful pepper flavor. I will buy these over and over and over again they are totally my favorite.!
I just love poblano peppers, but only problem is that they are often not available and I depend on them to add to my pimento cheese sandwiches I’m glad the price of eggs has come down because I like to use a lot of eggs. They are good for you and value is good now.
Great quality! First time ordering poblano peppers from Walmart. Ordered from the location in North Phoenix, AZ, and was not disappointed. The size, flavor, %26 appearance was fantastic! They came in a 16 oz bag which had 5 good sized peppers, perfect for what I needed. These came from a place called ’Coast Produce Company’. Not sure if this is who Walmart usually gets them from but I sure hope so because I want to buy some more. I roasted them in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 15 minutes and they were ready to peel immediately without even having to put them in a bag to steam first; but you still can since they need to cool down a little first anyway. Highly recommend! Sorry, no photos of the peppers since I used them before I decided to do a review.
This product was bought for chicken tortilla soup. Nice price, good taste, very fresh and crisp. the heat was just right. The ones not used , stayed well in the fridge for later use. The color was nice and green, held up in the soup.
You can’t beat these. Price, quality, freshness. I love stuffing these. Sometimes they are so big I make a horn out of it. Big daddy getting crazy with his veggies.
poblanos are very mild - if your used to jalapeno such as i am - this is very mild in comparison many people want a bit of spice, so we go with poblanos and we use many recipes with them. .
poor quality I bought two bags and in each one came a broken one
They gave me a bad poblando pepper
They brought bags that had molded chili
There's been a few times I've ordered these and sometimes they just don't have them and other times when they have they weren't fresh. They're soggy and sometimes moldy. I've had a couple of good packages delivered but as many times as I've ordered them they've been bad quality or not available. The shoppers should look at the product they pack as if they were purchasing it for themselves and they don't.
