Great Seasonal Fruit from Walmart

K November 17, 2025

I'm a huge fan of pomegranates and Walmart's pomegranates this year are really good. I know pomegranates are seasonal and I look forward to enjoying them until after the first of the year while they're still in season. If you haven't had a fresh pomegranate, where you have to separate the seeds, you've got to try one from Walmart.

Fresh and worth the time to prepare.

George November 19, 2025

Pomegranates are a great food. They take sometime to prepare but they are work it. Mine were fresh and no blemishes. I have one left for tomorrow. I am planning on taking my time to eat it. If you do not know how to eat one do some research. It is worth your time to learn.

Fresh Pomegranate – Whole Fruit

William December 28, 2025

Fresh pomegranates are nutrient‑rich fruits with a thick, ruby‑red outer rind and a cluster of juicy seeds (arils) inside. Each seed bursts with sweet‑tart flavor and vibrant color, making them refreshing to enjoy on their own or to add a bright pop to salads, yogurt, oatmeal, smoothies, and desserts. Preparing a pomegranate involves cutting it open and separating the seeds from the pith, which can be a bit messy but yields a generous amount of edible arils. These seeds offer a satisfying crunch alongside juicy sweetness and pair well with both sweet and savory dishes. They also make a colorful garnish for beverages or festive meals. Because pomegranates are whole, unprocessed fruit, they're easy to store at room temperature for a short time or in the refrigerator for longer freshness. Their seeds can also be refrigerated separately to enjoy over several days. Overall, fresh pomegranates provide a flavorful and versatile fruit option that works well in a wide variety of recipes or as a standalone snack.

2024 pomegranates are subpar. They are not the red ripe fruit we always look forward too. These are more pink white, less sweet and a smaller variety. Disappointed. Perhaps climate change or a different source is to blame.

Esmeralda December 6, 2024

The fruit came cracked and leaking :/ very disappointing due to the price, wouldn’t expect a leaking fruit.

These were OK. Some of them were very old and very ripe so I wasn't really happily surprised with this. These were OK. Some of them were very old and very ripe so I wasn't really happily surprised with this. And the size wasn't that great either! And the size wasn't that great either

Disappointing

Norman November 17, 2025

A pomegranate is nothing like a grapefruit. Please either pick up for return or credit us for the cost. Grapes were left in bag at top and very open - spilled all over the porch. The driver apparently left her child's laundry at our door. There is a bag of little girl's clothing with no tags and obviously worn - inside out and stinky. What should we do with these? We typically have very good luck with Walmart deliveries and have even recommended to friends. This was a very disappointing exception.

Rotten pomegranate

Tiffany November 10, 2025

This pomegranate is rotten. The juices all over the bag you can obviously see it's rotten. I don't understand why the shoppers would even pick this one for my order. They should shop like it's their order. They're taking home to their family. I've had this happening all summer long the quality of produce is terrible And the shoppers are not doing a good job picking out good produce very disappointed in this.

I generally LOVE pomegranate. I love to add them to salads and yogurt. However I ordered one a couple days ago. I sat down to chop up some fruit to make fruit salad. i opened my pomegranate and it was rotten; sooo rotten that it was already fizzy. im so grossed out.

I have never been so disappointed

KarissaRN January 1, 2025

The produce was trash. I had a shopper deliver my groceries. Either she is clueless on picking fruit or the produce is poorly managed! The grapes were mushy and disgusting. The pomegranate was bad on the inside! Brown mushy, moldy produce. Extremely disappointed!!☹️
