Carrots. Let’s talk about them. I bought these carrots thinking, “yeah okay, carrots.” But that was before the eye contact. The moment I opened the bag, I sensed authority. These carrots are not here to be eaten casually. They are here to observe. One of them was curved in a way that suggested prior military experience. I chopped one up for a stew and I swear the others shifted slightly in the bag. Could’ve been air. Could’ve been a warning. Flavor? Immaculate. Crunch level somewhere between “fresh produce” and “structural support beam.” My dog stared at me while I ate them, like she knew I had crossed a line. I put one in the fridge and the crisper drawer smells… confident now. Would I buy again? Yes. Would I recommend storing them separately from other vegetables? Also yes. Do I feel like these carrots have a long-term plan? I cannot rule it out. Five stars. Use responsibly.
My carrots were great. Sometimes I appreciate the convenience of baby carrots when I’m trying to prep a meal in a hurry. I have also been getting messages about enrolling in Paramount . I am taking any money that I’m spending on streaming services from CVS and donating that to saving public broadcasting.
super convenient. as such you pay for it. so sweet, crunchy, and natural. couldn't we not have them at the table bc we ate them all in the kitchen! had to share a few, a very few w our two 4-legged children. who swear to anyone that they are beaten and starved.
I have always gotten fresh baby carrots from Walmart. and they taste fresh. I can't say that about some of the vegetables. I'm not able to drive anymore, so delivery is the only way to get my groceries. I want to thank the shoppers who take care of shopping like they are doing it for themselves. I think whoever is the head of that department should make sure everything is fresh, and also check it out once in a while to make sure packaged items haven't been opened. Prices have gone up so much that nobody can afford to throw food away. But, I can say the baby carrots have always been good.
I was asked to write a review for these baby carrots, so here it is: they are, in fact, carrots. Small ones. They taste like… carrots. Crunchy, orange, and unapologetically carrot-y. If you were hoping for a shocking plot twist, there isn’t one. They didn’t sing, do my taxes, or come with life advice — just carrots in a bag, minding their own business. Would I buy them again? Sure. They’re reliable, consistent, and pair well with ranch dressing — basically the Toyota Corolla of vegetables. If you like carrots but wish they were pre-shrunken for convenience, these are the ones for you.
I keep a bag of these in the fridge at all times because they’re an easy grab for both kids and quick snacks between running around. They’re consistently fresh, crisp, and already washed, which saves time when everything else is moving fast. I’ve used them for lunches, after-school snacks, and even tossing into dinners when I need something quick. The size is great for kids and they hold up well for dipping. plus a healthy snack for my dogs! Only downside is like most pre-cut carrots, they can dry out a little if the bag is left open too long, so I usually seal them tight or transfer them to a container. Overall, a dependable, no-prep option that makes healthy snacking easier during busy weeks.
I picked these for both cooking and snacking. They are just as good as any brand-name product but at a cheaper price. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s a generic produce product. Still, these baby carts, complemented a Sunday roast beef, and a stew that I made on Wednesday.
The Walmart Pickup service is a great service but it is so annoying that often items are supposedly "out of stock" and the substitutions are also out so you don't receive the item you really needed. Then when you go into the store yourself you find it actually is in stock! Also produce selection by the pickers is hit and miss. Sometimes the produce is so sad and shriveled looking, like who would want that scraggly produce?!!
I bought these because I didn’t want to buy a 2 lb bag of regular carrots (I don’t have a lot of crisper space in fridge for vegetables) Unfortunately I was very disappointed and will not purchase again. I had to drain water out of the bag , they had a mildew taste and did not taste like carrots. They actually ruined my nice vegetable dish I made.
My order was supposed to be here by 6:00 it is now 9:10. I have received 2 items waiting for the rest of my 41 additional items. No letting me know what is going on.Really great service , am I ever going to get them????? Really disapointed in Walmart, maybe HyVee can do better.
