Wonderful Tasty Avocado, goodbye Hass!

Tammy October 19, 2025

These are the best Avocados! These are the tropical avocados that we grow in South Florida. Since moving to North Florida we don’t have these all the time. So I was thrilled to see them offered at Walmart. They have a wonderful subtle nutty flavor %26 make amazing Guacamole! So much better than the Hass Avocado! 🥑 I love these with a sprinkling of Olive Oil, Balsamic Glaze with salt %26 pepper %26 a fork! You’re all set for a light lunch or snack!

Excellent seasonal avocado!

Grateful August 1, 2025

Great taste and very fresh without bruising. They are not watery like the haas. They ripen within a day or two. We use them in salads and as a side dish with breakfast, lunch or dinner. The best tasting avocado we have found. Buy while they are in season and available!

Prefer the taste of the tropical ones.

helloark1 July 28, 2025

The tropical ones have more of a fruit flavor. Unfortunately these were rotten inside. Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time. They’re not cheap at $2.38 each and both were black inside and somewhat bruised outside. It’s a hit or miss with avocados.

I Love them! But can’t get them..

Lauren March 5, 2026

Every single time I order these, the shopper ALWAYS grabs the wrong one and I know the tropical avocados are there! They just didn’t look, the Hass avocado is NOT the same! Very significant price difference as well! I’m tired of being ripped off, u will be exchanging them in the morning. I really wish they would pay attention to details TROPICAL is not the same as HASS

I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me follow through with 0 stars. I couldn’t tell you anything about this tropical avocado because I’ve never received three times. Clearly the shoppers don’t know the difference between a Hass avocado and a Tropical one.

I couldn't put an actual good or bad review. It's the shoppers needs to be more versed on the different avacados. Why would I pay 2.68 for one of the regular avocados? I wanted the big bright green ones that cost 2.68...not one of the quarter of the size ones. Walmart please speak to your shoppers on this. Reading and seeing the price we are paying is very fundamental. You guys are losing money in this since I got a full refund and Two smaller avacados. I asked for difference in price but got my full money back. stop losing and tell them or show them the difference.

ROTTEN! AGAIN!

Anonymous September 30, 2025

Rotten! Walmart wants me to return it to the store, which defeats the whole purpose of having my orders delivered. I don't know a shopper could have chosen this. It completely squished in my hand. I guess I'll just stop ordering produce from Walmart and make a special trip to Aldis or Perrines.

knowledgeable vegetable picks know best.

Nemesia March 14, 2026

the avacado should be smooth on the outside as well as dark green. No dimples or scars or too soft. It's a waste of money and i would not purchase avacado from Walmart unless i personally pick it my self. Your pickers should be taught how to pick vegetables for delivery.

Definitely NOT “FRESH”

Mary April 2, 2026

I keep ordering avocados hoping to receive some that are edible. I keep batting zero with these so called Tropical Fresh avocados. They were hard to cut through and brown inside. (See photo) Someone certainly needs to think about changing the seller or training the buyer. Disappointed
