I order these apples everyday week for my 82 yr old blind dad. This review is from him: These apples have a good taste. They are crisp and are perfect as a healthy snack. Apples are so good. I eat these apples everyday with something or just plain. Thank you
I usually purchase the already cut and no skin bag of apples for my sons school lunches. This time i bought these instead because they were so much cheaper and honestly doing the work to peel and cut them wasnt that time consuming at all. They last so much longer than the already peeled and cut apples. We almost always end up having to throw away the last little bit of the peeled and cut apples but not with these apples. They were very fresh and tasted great.
I GREW UP ON A FARM THAT GREW RED DELICIOUS APPLES ALONG WITH OTHERS. FOR THAT REASON I KNOW THE APPLES YOU GET IN THE STORE ARE LAST YEARS APPLES. BUT KNOWING THAT THE APPLES ARE STILL GOOD. THEY JUST KNOW HOW TO STORE THEM JUST LIKE FARMERS KNOW.
I can't find one type of apple that I love. I chose these because the sunchaser I've wanted to try a couple of times in recent weeks aren't in stock. Either they're seasonal or in high demand 🤷. Green granny are too tart for my taste meanwhile the other types are either too crisp or not sweet or watery enough. Maybe I'm too picky.
Flavor was off for some reason - very mild "red delicious" taste. Also, not crisp, somewhat mushy. I typically don't buy produce or meat when I order online for pick up because I like to choose my own but I couldn't get to shop this time so took a chance. Fortunately I only bought 2. Not Walmart's fault; however, whoever does the shopping for the pick-up customers should shop like they're shopping for their own families (like, why would you pick bruised fruit or veggies for an online order?). It's all good!
Okay, so Red Delicuous is to me the best tasting apple. But 3 times now your shoppers have sent me Pink Ladies without asking about substitutions. I HATE PINK LADIES!!!! Hate them!!!! DO NOT EVER SRND THEM TO ME AGAIN. Or, I will never order anything ever again from Walmart. That is a small request as much money as I spend with you. And if it happens again……. I am furious about this.
I've had nothing but trouble with the Walmart app and the app has costed me more in gas money so I could fix app issues by driving to the store several times that Ive paid out $50 for gas to attempt to fix the problem. I'm still waiting for Walmart to attempt to resolve this problem
the apples I received were NOT Red Delicious apples they were gayla apples. I had asked for red delicious apples yesterday and was substituted with Gayla apples I let it go because I did not put no substitutions. today I made sure to mark no substitution, and all 4 were Gala apples. Gala apples are to dry for me I don't like them. I like Red delicious apples.
I ordered 7 red delishous apples received 2 Michigan apples (what ever they are) Imy price was adjusted how ever I don't know if I was charged because they are not listed on your web site. Also I order 5 to 7 red delishous apples weekly and 98% of the time I receive gala apples. This is noted on my order as a substitute. I do eat the apples because they are part of my doctor recommended diet. Dieting I hard enough and I want the product I like best.
Better to order by the bag. These are small to be charged for separately. Be a lot better to order by the bag. I do not feel like I am happy about these little apples. If this is ther large apples it is better to order by the bag, it is a better value
