I love these. I just wash them and slice them in half and put canola oil in a bag with, dill, onion powder and garlic. I shake them up in a bag and then put them in a pan to fry them up. They are always fresh and just about all the same size so they get cooked up all at once. You can roast them in the oven this way as well. They are the perfect shape. They are great with Eggs in the morning. Great for growing kids to satisfy their hunger. I would highly recommend.
My go to for smashed garlic parmesan potatoes my family can’t get enough of: INGREDIENTS 1.5 pounds small baby red potatoes 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 450°F Boil potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and let cool slightly. Place potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash them with a fork or masher. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Dip in your favorite condiment….ours is Ranch!
it's so much easier just rinsing these in a strainer then quickly halving them and tossing them in a pot roast or just throwing them whole in butter, garlic, and a ranch packet in the crockpot instead of wasting time scrubbing and cubing big potatoes. these are my go to for a nice presentation as a dinner party side or when I'm in a rush to get out the door in the morning.
I love these baby red potatoes! They were all just about the same size. i cut mine in quarters and roast them to have them with salmon and asparagus or have them as breakfast potatoes with eggs and turkey bacon. My favorite potatoes! They cook really well and evenly. I have used them for hewrty beef stews as well! They are a great way to stretch meals and get full.
The only way I realized these stood up was to boil them or put in the oven. Microwaving them, which I had to do most of my cooking and heating, just didn't taste good and the texture wasn't what I wanted, but for the money and the ease of doing it how you want it, they are the best, them and their yellow family.
These little red potatoes are the best! Always fresh and I enjoy eating them cold the next day or cutting them up to add to breakfast taquitos or add them to scrambled eggs and sausage for a homemade breakfast bowl. I buy at least 5-6 bags a month. They are a must have staple in my kitchen.
These will be so good. I make them in the oven on a cookie sheet. I wash and cut them in half. A little bit of olive oil turnthen to coat potato. Then throw them in the oven stir every 15 minute until tender and crisp on outside. They come out amazing. Use some seasoning when you take them out they make a good presentation on the dinner table
I love these baby red potatoes. Cooks quickly, I use them often. Great value for someone single, who doesn't use many potatoes. I use them alone, baked with a bit of oil and spices and when want a bit of potato salad. I never peel them, I like the skin on. They also fry up nice and crispy. Love these itty bity potatoes!
Sometimes when you get bagged potatoes you get some very soft ones in the package. This was the case with this package. I think the producer has them too long before they send them out to retailers. This is not the first time with this brand. For the cost, they should all be firm and clean of blemishes. Perhaps if it was priced lower, it may justify the quanity:cost ratio.
This four dollar bag of potatoes had three absolutely smelly, stinky rotten ones, and this bag probably had been pulled off the shelf the night before and was slated for the garbage bin. I had ordered these potatoes three days in advance. You would think the transparency between shopper and customer would be apparent, but obviously not. We do not know who is behind dumping old produce on delivery customers. Is it administration telling the shoppers, or is it the shoppers just being ignorant and not knowing what they're doing? There are too many reviews complaining about the rotten produce at Walmart. it would be interesting to know the truth because we're just wasting money and time dealing with it.
