Love this coffee! I switched to to the individual pods after my husband passed away (I used to use the whole bean Yirgacheffe coffee, but I only need to make one cup at a time now) so I was thrilled to find the Yirgacheffe pods. Thanks for a great cup of coffee every time.
Great coffee as always! Never had a coffee from FRC that wasn't good. These pods have the same fantastic flavor as the bagged coffee. They are very convenient when you're in a hurry before work or just want that single cup anytime. FRC is my go to roaster and I'll definitely be ordering again.
I recently got my husband to finally switch from full caff, to half-caf, and thankfully he really hasn't noticed much of a difference! Here's hoping I can microdose him into Decaf next. I love the Sumatra in all forms— Decaf, Half, and Full as the aciditiy is minimal in comparison to other types.
I love a good Sumatra, and this did not disappoint. As to be expected, the flavor of this half-caff grind is not as robust as the full caf. But this half-caff is perfect for those times when it's too late in the day for full caf, but I still need a pick-me-up to finish my shift.
We like that Dark Guatemalan Huehuetenango is low in acid like our other favorite Dark Sumatran. It is a change of pace for us. I am looking forward to using it as iced coffee when the weather warms up more consistently I have recommended FRC and this coffee in particular
Didn't get to drink any. The pod was causing problems with my Keurig machine. The grounds were running out all over and putting them in the cup. I had to clean the machine every time I tried to make a cup. Don't really understand, all other pods are just fine.
This is what I drink nearly every morning - even take it with me when I travel. Balanced blend. I drink my coffee black, so really want the taste to be there. My mom used to buy a well known brand pods, but now orders Fresh Roasted Coffee. It's way less expensive and tastes better!
I buy this regularly. The coffee is low acid, rich, smooth, and not bitter in any way. I like the chocolate notes with vanilla bean and anise overtones. I have been buying this coffee regularly and it is now one of my favorites in my rotation. Whether in K-cup or bean format, it is a pleasure to drink during any time of the day. Can't go wrong with it!
I'll admit I've been a devotee of Tanzanian Peaberry for as many years as I can remember. It's light and has fruity notes, low acidity and absolutely delicious. Sure, I've tried several other varietals, but none have compared to my favorite, TP. Then, I decided to throw caution to the wind and try Dark Sumatra Mandheling. Oh wow! What a complete change! This could be the older, darker, protective big brother of TP. This is bold, rich and full-bodied, (muscle-bound) and dare I say a tad sweet? No doubt there is a hint of chocolate with a whisper of spiciness, just like a protective big brother, yet it's earthy with low acidity just like TZ. Not a hint of bitterness...just truly rich and delicious!! I'm not sure what kind of voodoo magic Fresh Roasted Coffee has performed here, but I'm completely hooked!
I've bought several boxes of this coffee and love the flavor BUT, THE LAST 2 BOXES, THE K CUPS HAVE BEEN OVER STUFFED AND THEY EXPLODE all over my Keurig machine and leave grounds in the cup. Not good. Please Please fix this. I bought 2 boxes in my last order and I am hesitant to open the box and find the same OVERSTUFFED issue.
