This is by far my favorite variety offered by FRC. Having been to Chiapas, Mexico and had the coffee made by locals there, I was very excited to find this available for purchase. It roasts very evenly and the beans have always been of superb quality. Will definitely be purchasing more of this!

Due to last summers earthquake, Chiapas has been difficult to find. FRC had the stock and a reasonable and fair price, Package arrived well packed and undamaged and in a short period of time.

We roasted these green coffee beans on top of our stove after reading how to do this online. The beans turned out great and fresh on first try! Easy to roast just takes a little patience and careful watching to not burn or over roast!

I just roasted 5 oz to try, City+, let it degas for 24 hours, and was very happy with the results! Very bright and balanced, perfect amount of acidy for me! This is my favorite bean from FRC to date.

Coffee arrived on time. But, package badly damaged. All four corners crushed and a hole in the box. One bag of coffee had been punctured and taped. The folks at Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC promptly sent replacement.

I roasted this in a cast iron pan on the stove for 10 minutes. I am learning that if you scorch the beans, they are gone. Unlike most dark roasted coffee, it is very mild-nutty. You almost would not think it is coffee because we are so used to Starbucks french roast. I usually put in a dash of cream but none needed. No acid on the palete. Nice but tricky to roast.

Roasted just into the second crack, chocolate"y" w/ slight nutty tones. Very nice. Will be loading up on this one. FYI- the product showed up undamaged and timely.

I've purchased this Mexican organic green coffee before, but I think I received a different variety this time. Even using my usual roast profile, the results were significantly different. After a few attempts, I managed to find a profile that works well. I do like this coffee, but I'd appreciate more consistency in future orders.
